We stayed there last week and the renovations were definitely over. The location was unbeatable - a few minutes' walk from the metro, Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees with plenty of restaurants around. The staff were lovely, rooms were modern and clean with comfy beds. The hotel was soundproofed well, we didn't hear a thing from the surrounding rooms throughout our stay. There was an issue with the hot water the night before we were due to leave but the reception informed everyone that they were trying to fix it and it was indeed sorted out by morning.

I knocked one star off because the bedside lights weren't working and the light switch shut all the other lights off, making it hard to read in bed with my travel buddy trying to sleep in the other bed. Also all they had in the bathroom was soap and shampoo - I would have expected more from a four-star hotel. You should also be aware that this is a very small, no-frills hotel without a proper lobby or concierge.

The hotel was just renewed and the rooms are very beatiful. Small, like most of hotels rooms in Paris, but very functional. It was a good choice under 125 euros/day. I would recommend. The localization is very good, with a metro just 2 blocks away in an area apparently safe (Arc de Triumph), and 400m from Chamos-Elysee.

My boyfriend and I called in advance to make sure the renovations we're complete and they assured us they were. Upon arrival we were shocked to find the lobby in complete shambles. I don't really care about that but the noise from the construction woke us up at 8 am and we were staying on the top floor! I don't see the lobby being done within the next month or so, so another hotel might be your best bet.

Other than the construction the room was very nice and new though very cramped. The bathroom had all new features like a jacuzzi tub and towel warmer. Would definitely stay again when construction finishes.

The renovations are beautiful! I had called before booking to make sure the renovations were complete since TripAdvisor reviews said they were ongoing. They said it would be complete by my booking on Nov 1st.

In short, I arrived, and there was an 8x11 print out that was on an unmarked building saying "mercure entrance" when we got inside the lobby was covered in unpainted dry wall and construction. So upsetting. The rooms and breakfast rooms are complete and gorgeous though!

Elise/ (spelling) was a savior and made sure we were satisfied for our 2 night stay. The rooms are amazing with top notch showers and jacuzzi tubs, tons of reading lights near the bed, and strong free wifi!

With the amazing management and great renovations I'd stay again!
