We were apprehensive having not been to Paris for about 20 years but the whole experience was great. The hotel was excellent, the staff were friendly and the location was ideal. If you wanted to you could walk to any of the main cultural attractions and by doing this you get a real feel of the city. We ate in the Musee d' Orsay one lunch time and only did this because we were tired, we expected plastic food and iffy service but the food was excellent and the service polite.
We ate out at restaurants near the hotel each night ( four nights in total) and did not have a bad meal. We found the people in Paris friendly and helpful, an elderly lady at the Gare de Nord saw that we were uncertain about which platform ( she spoke perfect English, our French is not good) She made sure we got to the correct platform. To sum up we thought the hotel was first rate and would not change a thing about it. This is a proper French small hotel not a soulless creation of concrete and glass. If you have found somewhere that is good why look elsewhere. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: We had a room with a small balcony

Dear Mr. Robert D,

Thank you very much for this review.
We have a good location, 5 minutes away from Bonne Nouvelle – Grand Boulevard metro stations (Lines 8 and 9). Not far from Museums, Restaurants and main attractions
We are glad to read that you appreciated the staff and the location of our house.
We will be happy to welcome you again for your next trip to Paris.

Kind regards,

Cécile LESEIN

I stayed with my boyfriend for the weekend at the end of March and found the hotel to be delightful! The room was clean (particularly the bathroom- spotless) with a real decorative twist! In a lovely area which I would thoroughly recommend! The enormous comfortable bed made it perfect for the romantic weekend we had planned and the staff were really helpful. They held our luggage after check out for the day. Great value for money- would definitely return!

Thee rooms are clean and nice if you get a large room which means paying over the odds in Paris for an average hotel but if you are unlucky as I was and pay for standard room, You get a tiny small room, no minimum health & safety requirement and if you talk to the staff about it they will respond nicely but wont even move from their desk. My bathroom door was broken and I had nails hanging from the wall - Its ideal for budget Russian community visiting Paris (which are making the majority of the clients anyway) - no for someone coming to relax for weekend or for business purposes. Area is ideal but the hotel service is not - Great thing about the area is that there are so many hotels around at the same price range that can give better stay experience.

Dear Mr. Karim NADI

We thank you to mention that you appreciated the cleanness of the room and the centrallocation of the hotel.
You think that the single room that you booked was too small, but at the same time you used it as a meeting room having guests in that room.
During your conversation with our hotel manager all information were given to you concerning the fact that a single room must be occupied by one person maximum for safety and insurance reasons.
Each of our room full feels all the health & safety requirements.
We are sorry that your bathroom door was broken. As soon as you inform the reception staff the door was removed to get repaired.

Best Regards

Having just returned from my first trip to Paris, I was not disappointed.

Hotel Peyris Opera was a lovely boutique hotel which was exactly what we wanted for our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, spacious, had a great power shower, really comfortable beds and was stylishly decorated!

We had a street view which was great for people watching and although sometimes a little loud at night, it was nothing that couldn't be shut out when the window was closed.

The location was brilliant. It was an easy to find walk from the train station when we arrived and as a base it meant we could easily explore the whole city whilst still being able to get back to the hotel without the added cost of the metro or taxis if we needed to.

We would definitely recommend Hotel Peyris Opera and will be staying again on our next visit to this fab city.

Room Tip: If you like people watching ask for a street view room!

Had a mini break here in February. The decor was delightful, food delicious and staff helpful (and fluent English speakers). The only down side was that the wi-fi was intermittent but I can live with that. Had a fabulous time in a fascinating city - though I needed a holiday afterwards!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with our toddler and we were very impressed. It is in a great location, walkable from Gard du Nord in about 20 mins or a quick bus ride away. Around the hotel are some really nice restaurants and cafés, and well located to walk to Opera or catch a bus to the Louvre. We found it pretty easy to find our way around from our base and the staff at the hotel were really helpful in telling us the best route to various places. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room which was very spacious and comfortably fitted a travel cot which they provided for us. It was bright and clean and had a lift which although small squeezed us all in. The hotel had a highchair but no baby changing facilities on the ground floor which seems consistent with most of Paris, and wasn't an issue for us as we changed our son in the room.
We would definitely return here and recommend it to others!

Good location, zone 1, very close to a large selection of restaurants. Close to metro station. About 10 min walk from gare du nord. Good continental breakfast, room very small but clean. On our arrival was equipped for 1 person only: 1 teabag, 1 pair of slippers, 1 tea cup (papercup....who drinks tea from a papercup?). Staff speak english (just about). Wifi is free of charge but unreliable: We stayed at floor 2. It was fine the first 2 nights but then we couldn' t get it to stay connected for long. Room a bit noisy at night, there was some sort of ventilation system outside, close to our room. Noise manageable with a pillow over my head. Husband had no problems. Overall a good hotel for money. We would probably stay again
