Good budget hotel at a nice location. Walking distance from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, also it is not far from some sights like Center de Pompidou and Notre Dame. Metro stations are near by, there are many bistros and some grocery stores around the area. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a big bathroom. Beds are comfy and the room is silent. 24 hour reception and you can leave your luggage there on your day of departure. Breakfast is not included in the price. We ate elsewhere so I can't say anything about the breakfast. What's somewhat a big minus is that they provide the wi-fi code for just one device per room. Otherwise it's good value for your money.

Booked this hotel because we needed a 4 persons room for the family. We spent a few days in Paris, and moved later to another hotel close to the Disneyland. I wanted to rate it as "good", but only had either the option "average" or "very good". It's inbetween!
The hotel is on a major road in Paris, however it's not really the best district, hence probably the low price. The location is however great if you travel by metro: the metro station is not far away, and you are virtually in the heart of Paris. It's only a few minutes to "Les Halles", or to the large stores like "Printemps" or "Galeries Lafayette". The entrance of the hotel is narrow, and the reception is in first floor. From outside, the hotel entrance looks more like a Pizzeria than as a hotel. The parking situation is not easy, but the hotel has some reserved parking spaces in a (very narrow) garage across the road. The parking space costs € 15.-- for 24 hours, a total bargain price in Paris. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a room in the first floor, but that ment that we had to walk endless gangways up and down, with no elevator to our room. Good that we didn't carry that much luggage. The room was functional, two double beds, view to a court, and an ok bathroom. The room was very silent in the night, nothing to complain about, and the beds were good. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we went to a café nearby. All in all I feel like having made a good deal, albeit not an exceptional one.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in September and I think it's a good budget hotel that is close to both the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (walking distance). Not in the greatest area of Paris, however you can walk to the Canal St-Martin in about 5 minutes and there is a metro station about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was small but very clean, and it was quiet at night. The room had air conditioning and the breakfast was okay. For the price, in comparison to other hotels in Paris, this was a good deal. I couldn't access the wifi at all, however that wasn't a big concern of mine. I would stay here again.

The hotel just went through renovation. Rooms and beds were new. They were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was large and spacious. Great shower too. The lobby is actually located one floor above ground. It's a struggle if you are carrying a large heavy luggage. The hotel offered free wifi but it only allowed it for one device only.

The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. There is a KFC around the corner of the block where people linger and solicit. We saw a lot of asian prostitutes a block or two away from the hotel in the daytime! Location wise, it wasn't very convenient for a group of girls traveling. Streets are not as better maintained as other parts of Paris and there are very few restaurants or local businesses that open after 7pm in the area. It is a good budget hotel for a group or couple who are just looking for a clean room. I wouldn't recommend it to family or a group of girls.

My son and I just stayed at the Cosmotel in Rue Strasbourg. It is very close to 2 metro-stations. The room and the bathroom was fine and very clean, and nice big towels. It was quiet, away from street noise. Nice with the aircondition. Breakfast was OK for 8 euro. Lots of cafés and restaurants in the vicinity, and only 15 min. walk to Notre Dame.

A bit peculiar with a lobby upstairs and rooms located in several buildings linked together. It was very clean, good staff and recently updated. The neighborhood is very ethnic and some might think sketchy but quite typical for Paris and no real concern. Lots of food options in all budgets and excellent metro access to several lines. Rooms were on an internal courtyard an no street noise. Would stay here again without a second thought

Nothing special, worth the price.
Clean, well-located and friendly service.

Parking available across the street for 15 euros a day, great price.
but do NOT come with a big car unless you want it so be scratched/dented all over.
Parking is extremely narrow and it took us about 20 minutes to get 5 floors down and park because we had to be extremely slow and careful.

If you're driving a Smart, you shouldn't have a problem!
