Stayed here for three nights in the beginning of March 2014. Firstly we were in Paris for a weekend away - so it was a pleasure trip. I was very enthusiastic about getting around like a Parisian - on the metro! This hotel was two trains from the airport at the Rome Metro station (- look up the lines to take before you go), hence it was not an issue getting to it or finding it. It was nicely out of the way tucked down a side street. The hotel itself - the reception was small and cute. It had modern decor and did not disappoint on entering. The reception staff were okay. They did not give me a reason to complain, but they were not overtly friendly either, suited us perfectly. They helped us if we needed it - what more could you ask for. But immediately on entering the lift we realized the hotel was in the midst of re-decoration. The smell of paint was strong and the corridors were messy - but this has to be done at some point and is not an all year round affair, so again I would not be too worried about it. The room was cute and nicely decorated. It was a deluxe one, so it was bigger than the regular ones. This suited us perfectly. There was a television in the room and a mini bar. The bathroom was nice and clean with a nice little bath/shower. The room was wonderful until we went to go to sleep. We were really disappointed to discover that it was not comfortable at all and I genuinely did not sleep the first 2 nights, but just was just so over tired and exhausted the last night, I slept most of the night. The pillows were not great quality and the bed was hard. This really impacted our trip as we wanted to spend the whole time out walking around Paris, but having come from a week of work this was very hard to enjoy. Especially walking around the Louvre! I would not return for this reason. I really wish that wasn't the case as everything else was lovely, including the breakfast. If you were a heavy sleeper not too concerned about hardness of mattresses and quality of pillows, this hotel is great value and would have suited us perfectly otherwise. If this was improved I would definitely return! Such a shame.
