For our 40th wedding anniversary, my husband and I took our 3 daughters to Europe. Our first stop was Paris where we had two rooms for 5 nights at La Maison Favart. It was perfect. I chose it because of the Parisian ambiance, and we were not disappointed. It is on a quiet street, yet very convenient. The staff was always knowledgeable and congenital with a good sense of wit! We were happy with all of their recommendations. After hours of sight seeing and dinner, we relaxed in the amazing pool of colorful and changing lights prior to retiring to our beautifully decorated rooms. We chose the petit fare breakfast of fruits and fresh pastries that was more than adequate.

Cute small room. Quiet, bed is good. No bathtub but nice shower and all is brand new. We chose the classic double room at €350 euros with no cancellation, no breakfast included ... I was expecting at least a complimentary bottle of water but no we had to pay €4 for it.

The staff is not very friendly. Just polite. They dont make the extra effort. We don't feel we are in a boutique hotel in that sense. We were able to check in at 3pm only. Which was ok as the area is nice and we went for a walk before the check in.

I usually stay at hotel cambon which was full and I would rather recommend cambon over this one for the same price / value.

I find the decoration a bit dark and so are the rooms. But this is just a question of taste I guess!!

All in all, it's a nice hotel but for this price I will try another hotel next time.

Dear Madam or Sir,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of La Maison Favart with us.
I am surprised that you did not appreciate the staff, considering it is the most rewarded aspect of the hotel by the majority of our clients. Could you please give me some more details about the staff members you have met during your stay?
I pray despite this review, that you will still consider returning to La Maison Favart upon your next travel to Paris, and should this be the case, please be assured that we shall do all we can to increase our performance to a standard of excellence, and once again thank you for having taken the time to honor us with your contribution on trip advisor.
Yours sincerely
Stéphanie Boivent- manager

Just returned from a superb three night stay at La Maison Favart in sunny Paris. The hotel is small but perfect and has luxurious furnishings with all the facilities you would need. Situated on a quiet side street but close enough to walk to some great attractions, shopping and restaurants. By far one of the best features of this hotel is the wonderful staff who could not do enough to ensure our stay was brilliant and offered us great restaurant bookings at late notice but are also so welcoming. The great reviews for this hotel are fully justified and this is a real gem of a hotel in a beautiful city. Already wanting to return. Thanks for a great stay !!!

Room Tip: Room 27 is super with windows opening on to Opera Comique

We spent two nights at La Maison Favart and I cannot fault it. The staff were friendly, attentive and eager to help. The hotel is in a great position and we found ourselves walking to and from the hotel both up to Monmartre and down to Rue de Rivoli and The Louvre. Being set back from the main Boulevard down a quiet street we weren't disturbed by the sounds of the city at all either.

We had a good experience at La Maison Favart. Our room was ready early, which was convenient after an overnight flight. The staff was pleasant and helpful! The room was nice but on the small side (which we expected). Overall, it was a good hotel/nice find.
