Based on exceptional reviews we selected this hotel for an Easter break. The room was spacious and clean; we upgraded and stayed in one of the rooms with the arched windows above the hotel entrance; be prepared for noise/delivery lorries. Good size bathroom, great shower (though shelves in shower for, err, shower stuff, could have been useful rather than tiny). Coffee machine ... over-engineered contraption that didn't heat water enough and 1 normal tea bag supplied. We phoned reception for some normal milk (tea drinkers understand long life milk doesn't cut it) .... 30 minutes later we called again as it hadn't arrived.

The concierge was really helpful and recommended a number of local restaurants (reviewed separately) which we ate at that gave a good feel of Parisian gastronomy.

Personally, we would say the Favart was OK, but nothing "amazing/wonderful/special". We didn't want this review to sound detrimental to the hotel, just our opinion based on our experience of hotels. For the price, we were expecting more, and struggled to understand it's rave reviews.

Loved this place. The staff, service, room, decor, style, facilities were all superb. Can't say anything more really - although I have to to fullfil the 200 character minimum! I would happily live here

Room Tip: Our friends stayed in a lovely room, I think you may be spoilt for choice

We stayed here last week for 2 nights as a family with our 2 daughters , 7 and 12.
As there were 4 of us we decided to book one of the suites. This was ideal for us and gave us the space we needed.
We overlooked a quiet street at the front and the lovely building which is the comedy opera house.
One of the main reasons I booked this Hotel was because it was quite small but also seemed to be so French in the decor.
I used the pool on the groundfloor twice with my youngest daughter, and even though it was quite small, she loved it.
Lastly, but in my opinion the most important aspect of the Hotel are the staff, especially the concierge.
They couldn't do enough for us . First Class.

Room Tip: We had room 54 on the 5th Floor. Lovely.

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay and cannot recommend La Maison Favart highly enough. The staff are wonderful and exceptionally helpful. Our room was wonderful and the power shower was exceptional. Great gym, pool and sauna area.

The location is also great and within walking distance to a lot of the main tourist attractions. There is a Metro station close by but we never used it as we walked due to the close proximity of everything.

We did have a problem with hot water on the first morning due to a problem in the hotel. However I will not mark them down on that because these things happen and it did not affect our stay there.

If there is a better hotel in Paris we will never find it because we will always stay here when visiting the city. Thank you to all the staff for a truly memorable stay and we will be back.

Great location with helpful concierge to book restaurants etc. Really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. Breakfast a bit pricy at Euro 24 each so we ate outside.

The concierge likes to recommend the Vaudeville restaurant which we enjoyed. Just be careful if you are on a budget as it's not the cheapest.
