One of the best boutique hotels in Europe. Extremely friendly staff. Very good location - 5 mins from Opera. Superb interior design. Rooms could be bigger, but they are still perfectly fine. Nespresso machine in every room. Very nice lobby with a fireplace and a mini library.

We stayed here for 3 nights in November and it was wonderful.
The hotel is 5 mins away from the Opera, if you use the Roissybus from CDG (10 euro each way) this is the drop off point in Paris so the hotel is conveniently located. Other attractions are within walking distance (Louvre 15-20mins, Notre Dame 30 mins, Eiffel Tower 50mins) or you can use the metro which is a few mins away. There are loads of good and varied restaurants within 5-10 mins walk along with plenty of shopping.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and decorated, we stayed in a deluxe room which was the perfect size with plenty of storage space, tv with free movies and complimentary tea and coffee.
If you are staying in Paris we would highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location. Super staff. Stunning decor. Small but perfectly formed rooms. BUT no hot water which was a pain in chilly November! Complementary breakfast offered but really not ideal! We would, however, visit again and hope for better luck.

Dear guest,
Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on TripAdvisor following your recent stay at la Maison Favart. Unfortunately, during your stay, we met a very important technical problem with our water heater. This problem has been totally fixed now and won't happen anymore. We are very sorry for this matter which was totally beyond our control.
We hope to welcome you again and next time, you could appreciate totally your stay at La Maison Favart.

This is simply one of the best boutique hotels in Paris. Great location, fantastic staff who cannot do more for you, and your own coffee machine in your room!
Wide range of shopping and other restaurants available and the largest department store only a 5 minute walk away.

I love finding great boutique hotels with local charm. Le Maison Favart exceeded every expectation. The hotel is spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. The décor is beautiful with a frilly, whimsical feel. We were upgraded to a duplex and it was out of this world! The design was so unique-- the bathroom, the vaulted ceilings, the gorgeous and spacious living room, and the bedroom upstairs! And that's not all-- there are skylights!
The staff could not have been nicer. Nothing was a bother. And the location was perfect and picturesque. It's in a very nice area with lots of things to walk to.
Stay here! You won't regret it!

In my continuing search for a happy medium between the very overpriced luxury hotels like Plaza Athenee, George V and the like, and the so-called boutique hotels that give you a luxury closet to sleep in, I happened on the Maison Favart - motivated by some excellent Trip Advisor reviews.

As long as you ask for the 'deluxe rooms' this is a really good compromise at the luxury end of accommodation. I experienced both the 'deluxe' and the 'classic'. The latter does not have enough room to swing a cat in, and you are in grave danger of tripping over the luggage stand on entry and dislocating your shoulder when trying to enter the bathroom.

The deluxe room was very nice and worth the premium! First class linens, well organized even if the TV station selection in English is poor, and a great in room coffee service, there is peace and quiet and a climate control system that usually works.

Within steps of the Metro and good local bars/restaurants (the Favart does not boast more than a breakfast room), accommodating staff, a comfortable lobby with Internet, it is really a lovely little hotel.

First time in Paris for our anniversary, so we relied on reviews to help us choose a hotel and crossed our fingers. La Maison Favart did not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They saw us off in the mornings and welcomed us home each evening. Location is absolutely perfect. A block away from the metro and lively cafes and bars. Room was smaller than a standard American hotel room; but was beautifully decorated and well appointed so we never felt cramped. We thought about choosing a cheaper hotel, but are so happy we spent a little more on this place as the quaint atmosphere and outstanding service were priceless!

Room Tip: Room had a view of the Comic Opera which was a bonus!
