“Very nice, affordable stay in Paris”
Reviewed 17 January 2014 via mobile

We found the Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera on TA and decided since it had such good reviews we would try it out and it very much lived up to its reviews! The hotel is perfectly located where all of the main sites are within a 30 minute walk or you can take any of the public transportation. The hotel staff was so friendly every time we came and went we were greeted and helped with anything we needed. Our room was larger than anticipated for a Paris hotel and had a lovely window that opened to let in fresh air. The bathroom was quite small but well equipped with everything needed and fantastic water pressure in the shower. We took advantage of the 3 night stay so the price was affordable for a small getaway. They do offer a breakfast for a small price we didn't take advantage of this since we slept in most days. If we get the chance to go back to Paris we will definitely be staying again!

Great location location tucked away in a very quiet street. Very close to the metro and a 10 minute walk to the river and Louvre with lots of eateries located in the nearby vicinity. Great staff, very clean, quite and we thought considerably spacious for a room of this type in Paris. We have a triple single (room 103), the bathroom was a good size with both a bath and shower. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris. Prompt communication via email prior to booking this hotel.

the hotel is in a very good location near to the opera and 3 metro stations, the staff was very nice and helpful, they gave us advices for touring the city that turned it to be great tour.the room was very clean, we got towels everyday. we had coffee and tea in the room which really upgraded the feeling when we got back at night.the hotel was quiet at nights, there is double door for the room so you cant hear the people in the hole way. overall i think it was very good value for money.we didn't had view from the room but it's really minor thing because we wanted to travel the city.

Room Tip: ask for a room with view

Made a day stay near the Opera. The hotel is situated in the district close to Rue Sep. 4th where we found many bar / restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful to find what needed for getting around in Paris. Price is reasonable for location and room including bathroom are clean. They have 24 hours room service available. According to the guide, Oscar Wild once stayed so historically it has significance.

If your looking for value one clock off of one of the main boulevards in Paris, strategically located within a few blocks of The Louvre and Opera House..then this is for you.

You will also find bonuses throughout the side street neighborhood along Rue Saint-Anne which has become known as Little Tokyo. The evening comes alive with lines of hipsters waiting in line for some of the best Asian Food at some of the best prices I have seen, this coming from a guy living in San Francisco.

The Hotel? - Oscar Wilde lived here. Again, a wonderful San Francisco treat.... We actually stayed on the 6th floor in one of the Wilde Suite rooms. Charmingly small with original exposed beam ceilings and yes, one of worlds smallest bathrooms, but hey, price, location and history make up for that - Big Time.

Good location in a quite street. Small hotel with very small rooms, but with a very good and helpful staff (Nicolas, Alexander and Michel). We had to modify our reservation at the last moment and our request was satisfied with a smile. We found our room to be too small and the staff did its best to make us happy. We spent a week at the hotel and they moved us from one room to a larger one twice, carrying all our stuff without a misstep.

Great location within a walking distance to main places to visit in Paris. Very close to the metro stations (Opera and Chatelet). A lovely hotel, with tiny rooms but very clean and comfortable. Wireless internet and tea facilities in the room. Very friendly and helpful service. Thank you!
