We stayed for 3 nights in June 2013. The Staff was very helpful. All their reccomendations were right on. The hotel was a great price for the location. The rooms were small but very adequate and were well maintained. I would definetly stay there on a return trip.

This hotel was booked for me because it was handicapped accessible. It had a roll-in shower although I didn't happen to need that amenity. As mentioned by all the 5-star reviews, everything was pretty much great. The breakfast was a little expensive at 12 euros but delish as was almost all the food we ate in Paris. Having breakfast there meant we didn't have to make a decision right off the bat as to where to eat breakfast every day. Like everyone else has mentioned, the staff was super helpful. Our favorite was Andre, who was most charming as well as impressive in achieving whatever our needs were at any particular time. Having been to Japan and being Japanese American, I was not impressed by the Japanese restaurants in the area. But, at any rate, I did not go to Paris to eat Japanese food so that was not a problem. Ate at two simply for convenience sake as there were so many so close by. Be careful about noise in the morning. We had a first floor room on the street side and it tended to be a little noisy sometimes. Luckily, just being in Paris was so exciting and energizing, lack of sleep for one week did not detract from enjoying our short visit.

Room Tip: Ask for room on a higher level away from the street side.

We spent one night in Paris as part of a wine cruise. We had been in Paris half an hour (walking to the hotel) when we were pickpocketed. Since we were almost to the hotel, we decided to go on & ask the desk clerk what we should do. Needless to say, we were pretty upset - the thieves got Dan's passport & wallet which contained credit cards, money etc. The 2 women at the front desk were beyond fabulous! Both spoke excellent English & helped us contact credit card issuers, the American embassy & even wrote a report for us to take to the police. Since the embassy was closing within the hour, one of these kind ladies drove us to the embassy. They were souls of kindness & helpfulness.

When we returned, our room was ready. It was a little on the small side, but extremely clean & charming with an extremely modern bath. The same kind clerk recommended a nearby bistro for dinner which we loved.

The next day, the hotel kept our bags so that we could do a brief tour of the city before rejoining our cruise.

What could have been a disastrous visit to Paris was made pleasant & enjoyable by the caring staff at this hotel. When we return to Paris, we will book at the Louvre Sainte Anne, not just for the wonderful location & good value but also for the wonderful help we received from an extremely professional caring staff during a very stressful time!

We stayed here for three nights and we SO happy- it's our new go-to in Paris! We love staying in the 1st-3rd arr b/c it puts you so close to so much, and Sainte Anne's location is perfect. Really close to a metro, and easy walking distance to the Louvre, Tuileries, Hotel de Ville, and TONS of awesome restaurants. Because of the short duration of our stay we only hit our old favorite restaurants, but the next time we come we will definitely try out some of the surrounding Japanese places. They looked great and were always packed. We did not partake in the hotel breakfast, but instead went to a Le Pain Quotidien (one of our fave spots) about 2 blocks away. The staff at the hotel spoke great English and were really helpful, especially when we arrived late at night. Our room felt like a bedroom in a little Paris apartment, and the fact that we could go out on our balcony, turn to the right, and see Sacre Coeur all lit up at night? Priceless! Had we stayed longer, we would have taken total advantage of breakfast and/or afternoon glass of wine on our balcony, but we were on the go the whole time. Next time, for sure- it's such a great option! The room decor was lovely, and the bathroom was completely new and spotless. My only complaint was that our tub drained very slowly, but that's it! Way more room for us to move around in the room than many other places we've stayed, and the price is unbeatable. Great character, great location, great price, very clean, friendly staff. CANNOT beat it!

Stayed here for four nights. The location is extremely convenient to the Louvre and subway system, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the bathrooms have been recently updated and are amazing, the staff is extremely nice and helpful. I proposed to my girlfriend during this trip, and the hotel staff had champagne waiting for us in our room when we got back. Can't say enough good things about this place. In fact, one morning while eating breakfast we overheard an older couple talking about how they were back after having stayed here over 20 years ago. Must be doing something right if they can convince people to come back after such a long time!

I'd otherwise give five stars. The staff is fantastic and speak very good English, very helpful and knowledgable. The breakfast is 12 euro, not worth that in my opinion. The windows keep out a great deal of street noise but we were woken early several mornings by the trash collection trucks, but then we are light sleepers. Request a room away from the street side if you are a light sleeper. Did I mention the fantastic staff? They called for taxis, gave great recommendations, and asked about our experience regularly. The staff really made our experience superior. Do not hesitate to stay in this hotel!
