“Perfect for a weekend break”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2012

The main reason we chose this hotel was the location, and on arrival we knew we'd chosen correctly. Right next to a Metro stop, 5 minutes walk to the Seine, cafes either side of your front door and right on the edge of the Marais. We were only in Paris for the weekend, so it was great to be so centrally located.

The stairs in this hotel are steep, and certainly not suited to people who aren't too steady on their feet or who have heavy luggage. But again, as weekenders, we had no problems with our small bags.

I was very impressed by the room - it was bright, clean and modern, and the with the window closed was impressively quiet considering we had a street view. The bed was also incredibly comfy and just what was needed after a days exploring.

We didn't have the breakfast, but found reception friendly and helpful. I would definately consider returning for another weekend break.

I was just in Paris with 5 friends and stayed in this hotel in two sweets. The rooms were great and cleane. Comfortable beds, cleane and good bathroom. Breakfast was good. The service was good. The only thing I would say anything about was the reception which wasn't comparable to the rooms in standard which gave us a worse first impression. The location, if you like Marais, was superb.

Top floor room on 6th floor we knew there was no lift but the stairs are spiralling up and can be a bbit tight. THe rooms are decorated in a funky way, THe room was small-medium but suited our needs and the showers were nice. A great location right in front of the M1 St Paul metro line which is the same line the Champs Elysee and the LOuvre are on. Hotel is walking distance to Notre Dame. Many little cafes and bars nearby to breakfast in and 2 supermarkets on the doorstep. THe breakfast was pretty rubbish in the hotel and its worth traipsing out to get it.
.

Room Tip: Unless you don't mind stairs, try get a 1st floor room!

I thought the hotel was very nice, especially for the price. The room was fairly large and clean. The beds were comfortable and even though it was a room facing the street on the first floor the room was quiet. Notre Dame was a 10 minute walk. The Metro stop was 40 feet from the hotel door. The bakery was next door and the supermarket was about 60 feet down the street. But best of all the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not wish to spend a fortune on a hotel.

I had a great stay here. My first time around I was fortunate to stay in a big room which was not only spacious but also clean and very nicely decorated and on my way back i stayed in a smaller room which is more typical size of a parisian hotel. The smaller room had everything i needed and so it was perfect for the couple days i had left. I was very impressed with the location. I had accessibility to everything i needed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, overall i was traveling on a budget and i feel that i got my moneys well worth !

whatever you do. Don't ever think of staying in this hotel it is not nice!!
Don't get carried away by their website it is not real ! The photos on there website
have been taken along time ago and have heavy lighting- nothing to do with what the place is like. This place has been done on the cheap along time ago. It is dirty - smelly and horribly. The staircase is dangerous and dirty and there is no fire safety what so ever in the hole and the place is a real fire hazard . They don't check your passport on arrival - so they have no idea who is staying!
I could go on about it . But really no point ! Don't waste your money.
Have a look at my photos - that is what the hotel is like !!

Room Tip: Don't stay in this hotel
