“A TREASURE in Some Aspects”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

This hotel advertised through a website that was a BIG CHEAT, charging me $667 for 3 nights when I found out staying there that to book the hotel directly would have cost me several hundred dollars less, so stay away from that website, HOTELS.com.
But the hotel itself was clean, in a great location, and the Manager, ADONIS, was a real treasure: a gentleman who knows his business, which is hotels, and will come through on a personal level to salve your disappointment when breakfast, for example, has been stopped at 10 o'clock and nobody told you it wouldn't be over at 10:30 as it was all weekend. He also has all the graciousness of one who is used to handling five stars when all this is is three. He, and some aspects of the place, like the locale, are a true discovery.

Room Tip: Make sure you let them know what your needs are, and try and make sure that Adonis is on duty.

The location of this tiny boutique hotel is the best part of the hotel. Arc de Triumph is right up the street, the Seine river and Eiffel Tower at the bottom as well as the Bateaux Mouches dinner cruises. My girlfriend and I walked every where from here as Paris (tourist section) is really not that big plus what better way to see all the cafés and just slow down.
As for the hotel, at least for our room, be advised that the rooms are tiny, maybe a foot or so between the end of the bed and the wall. There was no luggage stands and not even sure there was room for them. Out of the 6 hotels we stayed in our trip, this a/c was the best. The lady at the front was very nice and helped us book our trip to Mont St Michels (see my review before going). Merci to her!
My girlfriend did have a bad experience with one guy (there are two) who seemed to be put out by my girlfriend asking for wash clothes and extra towels. Apparently his TV program was more important. Guest should not have to deal with rudeness for simple request. Btw, this hotel does not have wash clothes which the lady confirmed the next day if that is a necessity for you.
Breakfast was okay as other reviewers mentioned.

Stayed here back in Aug 2013 for 6 nights. We Were very much happy with our stay here. The hotel had an excellent location, nice comfortable and modern rooms, and great service. The Lady on the reception was also very helpful and kind. Arranged our taxis and tours on time. Only bad part is the breakfast which is really awful. The selection was very limited and that too was all over. No milk no bread nothing. The first 2 days we went to the restaurant for breakfast but seeing all this we never went back for it the remaining 4 nights. It was better to be hungry. Location is excellent just 5 mins from champs elysees and arc de triomphe and 15 mins to the Eiffel tower walking. Metro stations were also within walking distance.
Would probably stay again only for the location.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of June. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, and we felt at home right away. The hotel is quite small and charming, and has been renovated recently.

The rooms are quite modern and is very lovely. We got a big room where the toilet and the bathroom were seperated - which proved to be practical. The only thing that was a bit unpractial with the room, was that the bathroom had a glassdoor, which didn't make room for much privacy (we used a towel to cover the door). But the waterfall-shower was nice. The room fits well for a romantic holiday!

Otherwise, the room was quite clean, maybe a bit dusty some places, but nothing major. The best thing about the hotel, was the location. It is just a 2 minutes walk to Champs Elysee, which is the main street. We walked to all the major attractions from here (20 minutes to the Eiffel Tower). The area is very quiet and it seemed like it was safe there. We couldn't have asked for a better location - away from the traffic on the main street.

All in all, we were very satisfied with this hotel, and would definitely stay here again for our next visit in this lovely city!

I booked this hotel for a weekend in Paris (one night stay), approximately 2 weeks before our trip. For € 179,- I got a luxury bedroom (small double bed) with breakfast, for two adults.
Which I considered a perfect deal for Paris.
The hotel is just around the corner of L'Etoile and the Champs Elysees. So shops are in walking distance. The same goes for the Seine, Eiffel Tower and several museums.
We found it the perfect spot to see an exhibition in the Grand Palais and Palais du Tokyo.
Don't expect a very large room, but when you book the more luxurious rooms, the toilet is in your room separated from your shower and wash bin. Which makes it more convenient.
The breakfast was average, with coffe/thee, bread, cheese and yoghurt's. The breakfast hall is quite small, so prepare to join the table with other guests.

Room Tip: book the more luxurious rooms, it's worth your money since the room is a bit larger and toilet i...

The room was small - very typical of Paris hotels - but very clean. I was very happy with my choice as the location was excellent and within walking distance of the major attractions. I had breakfast included with my room and there was plenty of food and choices. I would stay at this small boutique hotel again. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Room Tip: Rooms are very small but typical Paris accommodation. I was very pleased with the location and the...
