Very friendly service. Very clean rooms - small but functional. Breakfast was lovely. Baggage storage room isn't air conditioned - beware of storing chocolates in your suitcase. Lots of great bistros and cafes right at your doorstep. Ask for family Room 206/207 and you'll get 2 bath rooms!

This was a Rick Steves’ and Trip Advisor recommendation that proved to be on the mark. It was a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included…European continental which was very good. The staff was also happy to provide tea or coffee in the evening if you ask for it.

The hotel sits along the edge of Rue Cler, which is a very nice street for cafés and shops. The metro is convenient (approximately a 5 minute walk). We took the train and metro to and from Charles de Gaulle airport (with luggage), and it was no issue (plan for one hour door-to-door). The Eifel Tower is approximately a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

The rooms are modern and efficient. They are, as most European hotels are, rather small. The showers in most of the rooms are very small (even by Europe’s standards). If you are an extra large person, you may want to ask for a room with a bathtub (they have a shower also, but the area is a little larger). The en suite bathrooms have frosted glass pocket doors and a half-frosted window (I assume to let in more light from the sleeping area). This looks fine, but does not afford all the privacy that my wife would have liked in the bathroom. Not a huge deal, but something to think about.

There were 4 in my party (two older teens). We stayed here for 3 nights in two rooms, which worked fine (the rooms were not on the same floor, so be sure and ask about that if you need to). We left Paris for two days to go to Brussels and then came back to this hotel for one additional night before we flew home. The hotel staff let us leave two of our suitcases at the hotel so I didn’t have to carry so much with me for my Belgium excursion (thank you for that). We had a “family suite” when we came back. That worked out great. They were two adjacent rooms that shared a mini corridor. If there are more than 2 in your party, the family suite is certainly the way to go.

Overall, very nice. I would stay here again if I returned to Paris.

Room Tip: If you are an extra large person, you may want to ask for a room with a bathtub (they have a shower also, but the area is a little larger). If there are more than 2 in your party, the family suite is certainly the way to go (read my full review).

Excellant hotel. Small rooms as expected, but very modern, and extremely comfortable. Staff was professional, courtious, helpful, and pleasant. Wonderful breakfast, and convenient location. Would stay here again, and would recommend to friends

This hotel is located at the intersection with rue cler which is a great little street with shops, restaurants, ice cream, etc. it's also about a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. We were a little disappointed with our room location as we didn't have a view of the tower and instead were right by the elevator which was noisy and by the street with out door restaurants which was noisy. We also noted it was our honeymoon and weren't offered any sort of courtesies for this, although we did book pretty late. Overall the rooms were pretty clean and the location is superb. The staff weren't super friendly but there was a nice little breakfast in the basement and this great little chocolate bar with beacoup macaroons!! Also there is a metro right around the corner. The rooms are small but from what I understand this is the norm for Europe. The airport is about 35 minutes away. We were happy with it overall but for the price I'm sure we could have found something compremable. Also just some FYIs for Paris in general - keep your metro ticket in tact as sometimes it's required for exit. Also, Versailles is no joke. Not sure about during the week, but on sunday we got there right at 9 when it opens and waited for 2 hours in line. When we left around 3 it was just as long. You could go straight to the gardens with no line and then go to the palace after (I don't think a lot of people knew that). Also weekends have a mid morning and evening time where water flows from the fountains, otherwise they are shut off. This is worth it, I don't think we would have enjoyed it as much without the water. Also the museme pass is completely worth it!!

Dear guests!
Thank you very much for having chosen our hotel for your trip to Paris. We are glad that you managed to visit Versailles and enjoyed it. We are sorry that you found your room rather noisy. We would like to mention that only some of the superior rooms have a view of the tower, so we always try to do our best but cannot guarantee that the clients will get a room with a view. We would like to apologize for the fact that you didn’t get any courtesies for your honeymoon, normally we always offer something for such occasions even if it is not included in our general duties. Our main concern is to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. Hope that we can better satisfy your needs during your next trip in our hotel.
Very best wishes,
Cadran Staff

We recently stayed at the Hotel Cadran and last year we stayed at its sister hotel, Hotel Valadon, just around the corner. Cadran has smaller rooms than Valadon and it is pretty tight, but since we were only two people and we were only in the room at night it was not a problem. The room was clean, comfortable, and has a strong wifi signal. We did have a problem with the shower head that made showering challenging. We had water temperature problems last year. The staff is very friendly and accommodating though. Breakfast is great and the hotel could not be in a better location near Rue Cler and close to the metro.
