Absolutely out of this world service. This is our second time staying within the hotel group, first time in Artus and this time in Buci in St Germain. The service is great but Sanjay makes it extra special, once again delivering as probably the best concierge in town. Great choice if you want to have a proper experience of the best Paris can offer.

My wife and I stayed with our friends at Hotel De Buci and we had a great time. The staff and especially the concierge, Sanjay, were terrific, the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, and the buffet breakfast in the morning was superb. There were many restaurant and coffee shops next to the hotel, as well as the metro station, stores, etc. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from the Louvre and about 20 minutes from the Orsay. We highly recommend Hotel de Buci and definitely plan to stay there on our next trip to Paris

The Hotel De Buci is a wonderful Hotel situated in a very special and unique area of Paris (in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés) within EASY walking distance of Notre Dame, Luxemburg Palace, The Louvre and just a little further to the other right bank attractions such as the Arch De Triumph and the Opera House. It is a vibrant area full of honest and indicative Paris culture, full of sidewalk cafes, bakeries and endless art galleries. The entire neighborhood was the most welcoming area that we have ever encountered in our Parisian travels. The trip would not be complete without advance reservations through Sanjay@buci-hotel.com. His help in making advance reservations landed us in the best seats of the best attractions in Paris, along with a taxi rides and smiles. The hotel is a boutique, with a cozy sitting area at the front door, a tasty breakfast buffet, spotlessly clean and ecologically friendly. But go outside their front door for your coffee and fresh baked offerings that are the best I have ever encountered. This hotel and the entire area is full of festivity and friendly Parisians! No right bank manifestations, just the best of Paris.

My fiancé and myself stayed for a week in February of 2014 and the experience was ideal.
We chose one of the suite which was spacious and a real value. We also elected the breakfast which was a convenience - and offered far more that a bagette and coffee....The location was a 5 min walk to Cluny, Lourve, and maybe 10 minutes to D'Orsay. Charming quiet street. All the staff was wonderful - Sanjay, Karim, Edgar, Gabriella and the gentleman waiter who served petit dejeuner (what a sweet man!) and a great team. The bed was a true king - no lump in the middle like other European beds. The bathroom - very updated and I was provided hair dryer (better than mine at home) and the concierge gave me a converter to use my flat iron. The products were L'occitane - which we love! The entire hotel is in the process of being updated and we had a room with gorgeous romantic French fabric walls...Our room faced the street which was noisy but it was charming..when the windows were closed it was completely silent and we slept beautifully. Again the breakfast - was a wonder...the fruit alone was amazing.
Overall though - it was the staff that made the experience peerless -

We would go back again and recommend to Americans who want a boutiquey hotel that feels unique, feels exclusive and privileged...honestly I felt like a bit of a celebrity.
I recommend you also get the macaroons and champagne upon arrival - start your trip off right....It was like I said just remarkable!

Room Tip: Just go with a suite! and if you want French experience - go street side vs courtyard.

We spent 5 nights at this hotel, located on a charming, café-lined street off St Germain de Pres. The property is lovely, a boutique hotel with well-appointed rooms. And the staff was superb. Concierge Sanjay had everything in order for our stay: restaurant reservations with the best tables, taxis appearing at a moment's notice. Sanjay's reputation for courtesy and warmth is well-deserved, and his welcoming demeanor was reflected by everyone at the hotel. The rooms are smaller than those we find in the U.S., but that it to be expected; and they had everything required for our comfort: lovely linens, a great shower, sumptuous towels, heavenly bath products, a minibar stocked with mineral water, etc. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a small, beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The room was quite big for Paris standard, very nicely decorated and as a bonus a bottle of champagne for my birthday. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The room was completely sound proof, no noise from the (busy) street or other guests. The breakfast was great too. In the neighborhood there are lots of small restaurants and great shops. Walking distance from famous restaurants like Lipp, Les Deux Magots and de Flore. We'll definitely be back at this hotel.

A friend and I recently spent 7 nights at the de Buci. The hotel has an excellent location in the 6th arrondisement, within easy walking distance of many of the major attractions of Paris. The staff was superb. Sanjay and his fellow concierges are highly professional and extremely helpful. Their service began right after we booked the room when we received an email from Sanjay offering his help with reservations and anything else we might need. Ultimately he not only made all our dinner reservations, he answered our every question no matter how trivial and even had Paris museums passes waiting for us when we arrived. The staff was also invaluable in helping us navigate the RER system, recommend shops for specialty items, look up the openings of special exhibits we were interested in and reconfirm flights when snowstorms at home seemed likely to be disruptive. A truly first rate staff. The hotel itself is undergoing renovation on the top floor which I assume will ultimately encompass all the floors so any decor I describe will probably soon change. But as is, the public rooms are charming and our room, while on the small side like so many in Paris, was certainly comfortable. We particularly liked having 2 sinks in the bathroom. The breakfast is large, my only quibble being that I wish they would upgrade their cereal choices and provide a selection of dried fruits for their guests.
