I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Brighton twice last month. The first visit was in a Superior Room with a courtyard view, the second was on the front of the building with a view spanning the Eiffel, Musee d'Orsay, and Tuileries. Both rooms were very nice with well appointed furnishings. Both were also spotlessly clean. The nearest metro stop (Tuileries - Line 1) is literally across the street and about 20-30 meters walk down the sidewalk.
I spend 150+ nights a year in hotels and for me what often differentiates a hotel is the service provided by the staff. The staff throughout the Brighton were very helpful and without fail always greeted me by name when I entered or left the hotel. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
My transportation to the airport was executed without any hitch and the car service they use is far superior to any random taxi you will find. The driver knew the back streets quite well and had me at CDG significantly quicker than I would have otherwise arrived.
I travel will certainly be back!
