“Wonderful Location, Wonderful Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Brighton twice last month. The first visit was in a Superior Room with a courtyard view, the second was on the front of the building with a view spanning the Eiffel, Musee d'Orsay, and Tuileries. Both rooms were very nice with well appointed furnishings. Both were also spotlessly clean. The nearest metro stop (Tuileries - Line 1) is literally across the street and about 20-30 meters walk down the sidewalk.

I spend 150+ nights a year in hotels and for me what often differentiates a hotel is the service provided by the staff. The staff throughout the Brighton were very helpful and without fail always greeted me by name when I entered or left the hotel. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

My transportation to the airport was executed without any hitch and the car service they use is far superior to any random taxi you will find. The driver knew the back streets quite well and had me at CDG significantly quicker than I would have otherwise arrived.

I travel will certainly be back!

Room Tip: Don't worry about street noise if your room is on the front of the building. The windows seal qu...

Dear Mr Horton,

What a wonderful comment, thank you very much ! As we really try to make our guests feel comfortable and a welcome, it's a pleasure to read that you got this impression and you will stay with us in the future.

Indeed, the hotel is only a few steps from the Tuileries station and Concorde station, which is very convenient wherever you want to go.
Besides, our private shuttle service is a good option, especially when you arrive at the airport so you don't have to wait for a taxi.

Concerning the rooms, we regularly renovate and refurbish them.
The room on the courtyard side like you had on your first stay is very quiet indeed, and the room facing the Tuileries garden (with thick double window) provides a spectacular view.
Thus, any of your choice is enjoyable !

We're sincerely looking forward to welcoming you soon again.

With our warmest regards,

Although the room with a view is a little more expensive, the view is spectacular, with the Tuileries, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and Eiffel Tower all visible. It is also a short stroll to many of the favourite spots of Paris and the hotel itself is very charming with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Try Angelina's a few doors along Rue de Rivoli for superb patisserie.

Dear Guest,
We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay in our hotel and we thank you for the kind comments on the staff who always try to be helpful and to be at your disposal.
All the rooms facing the Tuileries garden provide indeed a panoramic view on Paris monuments, and the central location allows a nice walk to the main attractions.
We will be grateful to welcome you soon again!

A friend recommended we stay at this hotel on during our first trip to Paris. What a great find! Very centrally located adjacent to the Tuileries metro stop, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While our room did not have a view, we were upgraded to the larger family suite which consisted of a bedroom and sitting room (with sofa bed) separated by a longish hallway. This hotel is pet friendly if you happen to be traveling with Fido. We will definitely return.

For our second stay at Hotel Brighton, we had a room on the front that provided a nice view of the Eiffel Tower at night and the lights flickering on the hour. The room was smaller than the last stay, but still nice and comfortable. We enjoy the Brighton and its location across from the Gardens, the Louvre, Angelina’s and walking distance to most sights. The staff is efficient and helpful. I suspect there’s a third visit in our future some time.

Room Tip: The view of the Eiffel Tower was nice.

We stayed 3 nights in hotel brighton. Excellently located with the metro just a stone-throw away, we were made to feel very welcome and were offered help with our luggage. When we needed a taxi, a member of staff would go out on the street and flag one down for you, the rooms were very comfortable and modern. However the description of room says it comes with tub and shower but we only had a shower, the breakfast was nice, the room was quite small and not a huge variety but nice enough. Over all the hotel really went out their way for their guests and I would definately stay again. If I had the money!!!

This was my first visit to Paris and I was a little apprehensive, but I scouted this hotel on Tripadvisor and gave it a chance. I was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. I was upgraded to a small suite which was a nice surprise. The room was well appointed, with a comfortable bed and nice shower and even a a separate tub (that i didn't use.) Breakfast was a trifle expensive, but not when compared to what one pays for hotel breakfast these days, and it was very good. The best part of the hotel was the location. A stone's throw from the Louvre, easy walking distance to the Museum D'Orsay, and close enough to walk to Notre Dame or the Eiffel Tower if you don't mind walking a little over a mile. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the best locations in arrondissement 2; close for a walk to basically all sights. The staff is nice and polite. The rooms are fairly big for Paris, clean and tasteful classic furniture with comfortable beds. The breakfast you may find cheaper outside the hotel. We loved our 4 day stay until leaving.
Don't book a taxi from the hotel-there are nearby taxis-because you risk hotel and taxi to charge 15€ advance fee to the desk staff and then once again to taxidriver. We then read afterwards that we were not the only ones. Instead of 60€ you will be charged 75€ for Charles de Gaulle airport. There is no willingness from Hotel to settle this afterwards despite two receipts. Another disappointment was that the glasses were forgotten in the bedroom whereupon we were asked 'what is the most you are willing to pay' for the hotel to send it to your local address. Unless you offer really high amounts beyound the cost for parcel they wouldn't do anything about it-not even letting through to hotel manager.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view to south with balcony-you won't regret it. In case PSG will win the L...
