We went to Paris at possibly the busiest time ever; for the 100 edition of the Tour de France. We were willing to book anything, just to be there. So we ended up at the Hotel Du Bois, very reasonably priced, considering what the other hotels were charging. Did we strike lucky? The hotel was clean, the reception staff were ultra friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of their Superior rooms which are larger than average and is good value for the extra cost. But the best bit is, it is so perfectly placed for the centre of Paris, you can visit just about every worthwhile attraction on foot. Paris is such a perfect city to visit, wonderful architecture, some of the best attractions in the world and the Hotel Du Bois.

Room Tip: Go for their Superior room for the extra size.

Well-positioned hotel just a stone’s throw from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées avenue. Our room was very nice and clean: the white duvet on the bed seemed to be new and the shower window was polished. The only flaw was the room size: it was really small and for € 150 per night (breakfast excluded) it would have been bigger. I suggest not to use the minibar: a bottle of water (0,5 l) cost us € 4,00 … always less than in a take-away bar along the Champs Elysées, where I paid € 6,00 for it! I think it’s crazy … but that’s Paris!

I stayed in this hotel in the end of June 2013 for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay. The receptionist was extremely helpful and seemed to be lovely also. She helped us navigate our way around the city as well as giving us hints on the best places to eat etc. The breakfast room is quite small and i don't believe it facilitated all of the guests well enough, however, my partner and I decided to eat breakfast elsewhere everyday. The location is the best part of this hotel, a 5 minute walk from the champs elysees, 1 minute walk to the Arc de triomphe and a 15 minute walk from the eiffel tower.

Small lovable hotel, delicious breakfast, pleasant staff and a corner family room with a view. You can walk to "evevrywere". As a family we appreciated the well assorted grocerie close by - and the all over welcoming kindness at cafees close by. Paris and still a kind of a village at our small corner. Dreaming of going back ! My favourite Hotel in my favourite town.

This is a small hotel, very well located five minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe. Very clean, rather small rooms and a good breakfast. Only really bad thing is that the rooms are very noisy. You can hear every word they say in the next room.
