This was a great location for our first time trip to Paris, nice and close to all transportation and an easy walk to some attractions. There were restaurants and cafe's close by as well as McDonalds :).
It was a good hotel to put your head down at night, not the best but at least you feel safe and get a good nights sleep. The staff were very helpful, you couldn't fault them. Internet was a bit up and down depending on where you are in the hotel but if you are not reliant on that it's not a biggie. There is a lift, shower and opening windows but not air conditioning. We struck Paris in the middle of a heatwave so were just a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was reasonable and kept us going to late afternoon.

It was a nice room and very convenient for us. We laughed when we came to the lift and it opened as we could only just fit with our bags stacked end on end. The room and bed were good and we liked the view. The breakfast was different but we found out quite normal for Paris. We really enjoyed breakfast as the the dining room had a full glass wall and part of the ceiling and almost like eating outside but protected from the cold (check their pictures).

It was good for us as we were there to sightsee, regardless of the weather, not stay in the hotel. Helpful manager and friendly staff in the dining room. Be happy to stay there again.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance from the Metro, Opera Garnier and Louvre Museum. They have 24 hours reception and the staff is helpful. Room was clean but very small. A very simple breakfast is served with no lunch and breakfast facility but there are many restaurants across the street.

I would not recommend this hotel. The location was good, very central however the staff were rude and unhelpful. The hotel in itself is of shady reputation. After checking out it charged us a third more than we had confirmed with "Easy to Book" and also charged us for not turning up! We still have not resolved this matter almost a month on. I would not recommend easy to book as a company or the Hotel Lafayette. Stay at your peril!

Six ladies enjoyed this attractive bijou Parisienne hotel for a three day stay. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, rooms were small but clean with comfy beds and TWO pillows each. We enjoyed a good basic continental breakfast which had suitable options for the gluten-free member of the party. It is situated on Rue Lafayette but traffic noise is not a problem unless you open the double glazed windows.
The arcades on the Rue Montmartre turned out to be only a five minute wander away for a local shopping experience. We ate well at the restaurant opposite and at Scaramouche in Rue de Cadet, one minute walk away. The rest of Paris was very accessible- bus to Opera / Gare du Nord, Cadet Metro three minute walk. Two of us, fancying a walk and to miss rush hour on the Metro, came back from Musee D'Orsay via interesting streets in 50 minutes.
Downside- two of the rooms did not have working plugs for the sinks and my room was very hot because the thermostat on the radiator didn't work.
We would have a seen a few minutes more of Paris but those chairs in the foyer were REALLY comfortable so it was tempting to sit and chat!

After a very long flight to be met by an older man(manager?) who was not only unhelpful but down right rude. The room was booked as a double for a solo traveller. Single bed pushed against the wall in a tiny room. When I asked if he had a double room he informed me no other room was available. I tried to book into other hotels near by but all were fully booked. The room was clean, bathroom tiny. Breakfast poor choice. Would not recommend staying here. The only positives were lovely restaurants near by, close to the metro.
The other staff, young males were very helpful. No air conditioning
Internet worked for 2 days then I couldn't connect for the rest of the week. Not worth the money.

Cordialement.
