2 days in Paris in Spring. Very friendly staff. Delightful hotel. Room compact and bijoux. Nicely decorated. About 10 mins walk from a couple of different Metro stations . . but a lovely walk - the area seems to be Embassy central. If you want a picnic - there's a fantastic bakery, and a fromagerie just around the corner. Dinner to die for at La Villa Corse on Malakoff street around the corner (helpfully recommended by the hotel staff). Request to the hotel . . . when you change your hairdryers, could you not choose a model that you have to keep your finger on the button to make it work - its just awkward to use. Showers are cosy. A maybe a few more tea bags and milk in the room for us die-hard tea drinkers. Many thanks. Will be back.

Room Tip: Front of hotel gets evening sun - lovely if you have a small balcony.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review on Tripadvisor. We are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay in Paris at our property, glad you appreciated the posh
neighborhood and central location and service.

We have taken note of your recommendation but unfortunately even though I agree that it is awkward as system, there is no other system authorized at the moment for security reasons. Next time we need to change the hair dry will definitely again double check if a different system would be accepted.
As for the tea and coffee facilities, even though they are replaced every day, please do not hesitate to ask for more upon arrival so that you can have more put in every day.

We look forward to welcoming you back and remain at your disposal for your next reservation.

Kind Regards,

Just returned from our four day break spent at this lovely little hotel. Read the reviews on T.A.
and decided this was just what we wanted, and thankfully we were not disappointed. The area is nice and quiet to return to, after the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel is very well kept and the staff very good. We were room only ,so can't comment on the breakfast. There are a few nice places to eat and a supermarket close by. The metro stations are a five minute walk away,
and about ten minutes to The Arch de Triumph. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review following your recent stay at our property.

We are happy to read that you were not disappointed as indeed the ranking is one thing but delivering the same service and having the high standard’s up constantly all year round is a very different and difficult challenge so, it is always nice to read that we are able to maintain it!

We look forward to welcoming you back in a not too distant future and remain at your disposal for your next reservation.

Kind Regards

Stayed at Hotel Residence Foch for 2 nights. A superb pretty hotel, just tucked away from the main road near the Palais de Congres and 5 minutes walk from both Porte Maillot or Porte Dauphine metro stops, the latter of which takes you directly from/to La Chapelle which is linked via tunnel to Gare du Nord for Eurostar. Walking distance to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are modern and tastefully decorated with lovely en suites. Rooms have great amenities, mini bar, tea & coffee making facilities, nice toiletries and even the hairdryer in the bathroom is decent! Free Wifi throughout the hotel which is great, many hotels charge for this privilege. Our room, 21, overlooked the small courtyard below and was very quiet, no noise. Bed was comfy, extra pillows and blankets provided in the wardrobes. There was also a safe in the room for any valuables. Didn't have breakfast in the hotel but the breakfast room was busy every morning and pastries smelt gorgeous!
After asking reception to book a table at a restaurant we had chosen for the Saturday night which was unfortunately fully booked, they recommended Restaurant Jamin in Rue de Longchamp, near Boissiere Metro. The food and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, great recommendation. I will definitely be returning to both Hotel Residence Foch and Restaurant Jamin on my next visit to Paris, all in all, a super weekend.

We stayed on the 23rd March, and had booked the superior room. We were not disappointed, the room was well decorated and a good size with a bedroom and a separated lounge area, both with their own TV.
The hotel is well placed, a five minute walk from the local metro stations at both Porte Dauphine and Porte Maillot, which meant getting into town was easy and took around 30 minutes from our room to the Notre Dam.
If you don't mind a walk it takes around an hour to walk from the hotel, past L'arc de Triomphe, along the Champs Elysées, to the Louvre. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Residence Foch again next time we visit.

Welcoming and informative staff.

Good modernisation of period building. Clean, attractive rooms with good bathroom and bedroom. Quiet location and hotel. Computer with internet available in reception for guest use.

Expensive area for restaurants, but very good metro and bus links to centre (only 20 mins), Eiffel Tower and Gare du Nord for Eurostar – just ask at reception for maps and timetables. One of just 2 original Art Nouveau Metro Station entrances at Porte Dauphine close by.

Would certainly recommend and like to return.

Room Tip: Our room at the back was excellent.
