The Residence Foch was a great place to stay in a quiet part of a busy city, with comfortable beds and dark rooms, good for sleeping after busy days sightseeing in Paris and many, many miles of walking. A wonderful place to return to after long days. The hotel staff were very helpful, good English and had many great recommendations for restaurants and transportation tips. The room was rather small but the bathroom very nice size but it was very clean and we were really just there to sleep. We did not have the breakfast there but there are many options for patisseries and a nice grocery store close, to buy items to put in the refrigerator if meals were to be eaten in the room for convenience sake. We would definitely recommend this, friends traveling around the same time in Paris were in the 1st arrondisment felt it was so busy and expensive for even the basics, we felt very fortunate for all the things good about staying at this hotel, very convenient for the metro and Paris is easy to navigate on the metro.

This hotel was most convenient to the Metro and convention center. The rooms were comfortable and clean and very quiet considering it is located close to major traffic and restaurants. All of the receptionists spoke exceptional English and couldn't have been more helpful. All questions concerning directions and restaurants were answered efficiently. A great small comfortable hotel at a reasonable price!!

Nelly and her staff greeted us upon our arrival with a smile and a room ready to occupy. After a long flight it was a treat to be able to check in early. They were all so helpful, so welcoming that it was a great start to our European adventure. They gave us many tips about what to see and what the best times were to see them. Their directions were so valuable to us as we like to walk. The hotel is in an area of Embassy's so it is safe and within walking distance of all attractions; if you like to walk. If you want to walk the Seine at night and enjoy the cafe's then there are always cabs to be found to take back. The European style breakfast was a nice start to the day and could be had in the room if requested and if anything was needed it was provided. It is clean, comfortable and central with a great staff...what more can you ask for?

The hotel is in a good location, the owner is very helpful and it really is just like a big B & B. Close to Champs Elysee, not to far from the Eiffel Tower, close to metro. We would definitely go back.

After reading the strong reviews in TripAdvisor and doing much research for a suite that would accommodate three adults and not rob us blind, I booked two nights at Hotel Residence Foch. Upon our morning arrival, the proprietor took care of us very quickly and even brought some tea for my mom who was feeling poorly after a long day of traveling. We got into our bags up the lift in and found our suite (the Blue Room) incredibly SPACIOUS and well appointed. While we were lucky with the weather and didn't have to make use of A/C or heat, we did leave windows open during the night. And, remarkably, it was pitch quiet and very indicative of how residential the neighborhood (the 16th A) is despite its proximity to l'Arc de Triomphe and major boulevards.

The beds, including an additional cot set up, were very comfortable with good linens. Bathroom was very roomy, especially for Paris. And,one of my hotel pet peeves was absent: there was really good lighting in the room. Enough lamp options throughout the space for one person to go to sleep and someone else to stay up and read. It's not a luxurious space, but it's one that feels authentic to the city while also being modern with free wi-fi and a flat screen TV.

Located in the 16th A., the location is remarkably convenient midway between the Porte Maillot (Metro line 1) and Porte Dauphine (Metro line 2). Breakfast is a bit pricey at 13 euros per person, especially when there are some nice patesseries within walking distance. But, the breakfast spread and atmosphere is very nice and convenient.

The most unique and strongest asset of this hotel is its service. The lovely couple who took care of us were helpful with recommendations, suggestions, and helping to book our taxi when we left. The care and personal touch felt very much like a B&B but with the efficiency of a well-run hotel in Paris. Highly recommend. Would stay here again the next time I'm in Paris.
