My husband and I had wanted to spend an evening wandering the western and northern edges of Montmartre (starting from metro Abbesses and winding up and around toward metro Lamarck Caulaincourt and Rue du Mont Cenis, via Rue Lepic, Ave. Junot and Rue des Saules - a really lovely walk) and in searching for a spot to end the walk with dinner, I came across a review of Sens Uniques on John Tablott's Paris blog (http://johntalbottsparis.typepad.com/john_talbotts_paris/). I took his recommendation and I'm glad I did. We reserved through La Fourchette and were offered our choice of the regular menu or a special La Fourchette menu that included a complimentary glass of champagne. From the moment we walked in the door until we left close to midnight we felt well cared for and well served. The space is elegant, but not at all stuffy. Tables are very generously spaced (rare in Paris) and the noise level was very comfortable. The food was wonderful.
