“Trois jours escapade”
Reviewed 4 November 2011

We stayed for three nights in a Standard room which was just perfect for us, especially as we were out all day and in the evenings. The room was at the front of the hotel on the second floor and we slept with the windows open, as the room was quite warm and the air conditioning was not available. That said, street noise was minimal and just the occasional disturbance but you are going to get that in a city. The room's decor was impeccable and very clean, which leads me to the bed - so comfortable. Again the bathroom was spotlessly clean with plenty of toiletries that are restocked each day. The room was very relaxing - perfect after all the walking we did and loved the small touches (turn down service & classical music playing on our return in the evening). The staff were all friendly, polite, well informed and nothing was too much trouble and because of them ended up having the best meal of our stay at a restaurant called Jamin. The location is perfect and the nearest metro is George V, however, we just ended up walking everywhere, as there is so much to see and you really do get a feel for the city (another plus to help aching feet is the hotels sauna/steam - delightful). The hotel is situated in a up market area and therefore, you will be paying premium prices if you stay in the locality for meals etc. All I can say is explore and look out for where the locals eat - usually cheaper and very good. We found a small place nearby in Rue Francois called Cafe O, where we had fresh coffee and croissants etc for around ten euros. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Room Tip: I would recommend to book a larger room if staying for more than a few nights, as the Standard room...

Stayed for 2 nights in the most basic room which is adequate if you are out exploring all day.
Our room faced the street and got a little noisy at times but all in all was pretty comfortable. If I were to return to Paris I am not sure I would stay in this area again, mainly due to the prices of everything close by - if you live in London the Champs Elysees area offers nothing spectaculor or any shopping bargains really - other than Sephora which we no longer have! I would reccomend staying somewhere more bohemian and getting to the attactions by metro as I found the metro to be the only thing value for money!
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it seemed expensive at 32 euros for a buffet, Josephines around the corner looked amazing but is closed weekends. The Spa downstairs is an added bonus for a relax - the gym is compact but looked good. The concierge were great and reccomend good places to eat for any budget, the real highlight of this place is the lovely Symon (from Sri Lanka) behind the bar in the evenings, he could not do enough for everyone - we even saw him go and get some guest a takeaway! I would reccomend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Dear Guests,

Thank you for having chosen our hotel for your stay in Paris and giving us a nice review on the TripAdvisor.
We just wanted to mention that our buffet breakfast is 22euros and not 32euros.
We sincerely apologize if you were incorrectly informed of the rate.
We also serve continental breakfast at 14euros, which is the same rate than in all the cafes in Paris. Our whole team and especially Symon wishes you nice autumn!

Kind regards
Rita Nouvel

My girlfriend and I stayed at this boutique hotel for a week. Our room was still being prepared upon our arrival and we were treated with a cold drink. The hotel was beautifully decorated by a top French designer and looks totally new. It is walking distance the Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Louvre. The Metro and taxis are nearby. There are many boutiques and cafes nearby and this is a very safe, clean area of Paris. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The hotel is immaculately clean. We highly recommend!!

Room Tip: The hotel is on a very quiet street and there is minimal vehicle noise. Second floor and above are b...

It's very hard to not repeat what's already been written, but I was truly surprised at how pleasant the Hotel Keppler was. I would definitely state that this charming boutique hotel was actually one of the few highlights of our stay in Paris, and I we wouldn't hesitate to return to this establishment.

We took the Executive room and I don't think I can fault it. Yes, it's still a bit small, but ALL hotel rooms in Paris are small unless you're staying in a new modern building.  Certainly you can only have 1 person in the bathroom at a time, but it's still well designed and I loved the shiny black soft PVC (?) walls.

What did stand out for us was the charming young handsome Frenchman on the front desk who took time marking up maps and finding addresses for our rather specific itinerary.

And I also think a big credit must go to the charming Asian couple who run the breakfast room. Absolutely loved going to, and lingering over, breakfast. A great start to the day, and no rushing or being kicked out early. Many hotels could learn from their attitude.

The hotel has been awarded a 4 star rating - and that's an honest rating. But in my opinion it gets 5 out of 5 for providing an excellent 4 star rated hotel - and it certainly beats many a 5 star rated property we've stayed at.

All in all, how very refreshing to find a unique boutique hotel that surpasses expectations.

Room Tip: go as big as possible - if you can afford it.

The hotel is very well located a couple of blocks from the Champs Elyses and George V. Close to the arch de triumph. The staff was very helpful. Simon was great in the lobby tending to drinks for us. The rooms were nice but very small. One thing I did not like was the half glass divider in the shower tub combo. Water spilled onto the floor every shower. However the room was comfortable. No international outlets either. We loved the value however.

My husband took me here for my birthday, which prompted a room upgrade in this wonderful little gem. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay personal and memorable. We will definitely return next time we are in Paris. Thank you, Hotel Keppler staff, all of you!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Keppler for four nights, the stay kicked off a 2.5 week trip through Europe and we found it to be a fantastic start. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff. Beautiful warm lobby, very comfortable, first impressions were great. Our room was not yet ready which was fine, we were also offered a upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. We were offered breakfast, which we accepted and we were escorted downstairs to the breakfast room. Staff there was also welcoming, selections were fantastic and food was very good. When done we were introduced to our room. We found it to be very comfortable and bright. Nice amenities (Hermes), robes slippers, etc. Location for us was also very good. First night we walked to and strolled the Seine, and Tour Eiffel. Very close to all major Metro stations.

To summarize we found Hotel Keppler to be comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. Highly recommend. BTW we stayed at Jay's the last visit which is also highly recommended on trip advisor. We saw the biggest difference being the size of the room, which lets face it for a couple is not a big deal, at least for us. And we saved $$.
