“Wonderful hotel in 7th”
Reviewed 13 November 2009

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel and this time I came back with my husband and mother-in-law. I was pleasantly surprised to see a lift in the hotel. The last time I stayed there my dad and I had to drag luggage up the winding stairway. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Nice amenities. The breakfast is priced a bit high, we are are neighboring bistro's each morning. The staff was just tremendous! Very helpful, sweet and most delightful folks to welcome you and take care of you during your visit. I encourage any traveler to stay at this charming hotel!

I completely agree with the other recent reviewers that this is a good, clean hotel in a really excellent location. We spent 4 nights there. The staff were pleasant and helpful. However the breakfast at the hotel was extremly expensive at approx 15 euros each and we went to neighbouring cafes instead. Booking independently cost us 916 euros for the 2 of us for 4 nights without any breakfast which is, in our opinion, expensive for a 3 star hotel.
Each room is colour themed and the silver /black combination with many dangling crystals trimmimgs was not to our taste.. Furthermore the mounds of bed cushions were left after our arrival on the floor in the window alcove for the rest of our stay taking up valuable space. The bedside ledges were tiny but housed largish lamps with dangly crystal shades. Excellent shower.
If you like a morning drink before walking the streets to a cafe you may wish to consider a travel kettle.

Stayed there for the second time and loved it again. Staff is so friendly, service is perfect and location is excellent too. We had two very good nights without any disturbing noise. There was only one thing a bit strange about the hotel: the temperature in the lobby and the main entrance: 32 degrees!! The warmth just hit us right in the face everytime we went there...

This gorgeous boutique hotel is in a quiet area just steps away from trendy cafes, bistros and restaurants. It is well-situated across the street from La Tour Maubourg metro station. Les Invalides and Napoleon's tomb are a 5-minute walk and the Eiffel Tower is 15 minutes away. Because of its availability at the time, we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was spacious (by Parisian standards), comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. That said, the hotel's best feature is its staff: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and
unassuming, with a good working knowledge of English. This was our first visit to Paris and there's no question that we will be staying at Hotel de la Tour Maubourg on our next visit as well.

We spent three nights at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive (and willing to tolerate my horrible attempts at speaking French!) and the location is just perfect, particularly if it's your first visit to Paris.

The Eiffel tower is about 10 minutes walk, the Army Museum (and Napoleon's tomb) is right next door, there is a Metro station right outside and none of the main attractions are more than about 10-15 minutes away either on foot or by Metro.

The hotel is lovely and quiet, there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, and there's a fantastic street nearby where you can buy lots of pastries, wines, cheeses and meats.

Having been to Paris previously staying in various other locations I can't recommend Hotel de Latour Maubourg highly enough. The place is an absolute find and should you take the time to read reviews on the various travel sites you will struggle to find a bad word written. We stayed for three nights, the first in a standard double before moving to a superior room for the rest of our stay. This was purely due to availability when booking - Certainly no complaints of the first room but if a superior room is available when making your reservation I would suggest its certainly worth the extra few Euros. The standard double was not the largest of rooms as you come to expect in Paris but was certainly clean, had everything you needed and in keeping with the other charmingly eclectic touches of the hotel was perfectly judged. Our superior room (23 as I recall) even more so.

The location just across from the landmark Military Museum is both beautiful and perfect for any stay in the city. Bikes, Taxis, and the Metro all just around the corner ready to get you to where ever else may take your fancy but if you've not stayed in this part of town before there are some lovely spots to discover within walking distance. The busier St Germain is a short stroll away, with the Eiffel Tower approximately 15-20 minutes (walk) in the opposite direction but far enough away that you dont feel like your in the middle of the hustle & bustle. Paris is not a huge city so everything is still close by.

Hotel de Latour Maubourg is charming - a lovely building in a great location with attentive welcoming staff providing a relaxed, perfect stay. Highly recommended and we will certainly be returning.

We had a most enjoyable stay at your wonderful hotel. Our room was delightful and so clean and comfortable. The young women at the front desk were the best! They were so helpful to us as we had never been in Paris before. They are most knowledgeable and so patient in directing us to wherever we wanted to go. Even their suggestions as to restaurants and cafes were just right. Our experience was just terrific and we would enthusiastically recommend Hotel de Latour Maubourg.
