I was traveling to Europe in May with my grown son and we had an apartment
In Paris for a week and then we went to Brugge Belgium for a few days (Hotel Goezeput)
Very nice. Anyway then back to Paris for a 4 more days, so I looked on trip
Advisor and found this wonderful Hotel. We were met by Jamal, who made
Us welcome right from the start He was so helpful and friendly and he
Even went and got us ice for our room. Then we had asked for room 107
Because we had seen pictures and reviews of that room and thought it looked
Good and they gave us that room. It was pretty and had a painted ceiling and
comfortable beds and a very large and good bathroom. Plenty of plugs
For charging and a safe for your valuables. It was a small room for 2 people
Since we got twin beds but the room was so nice that we didn't care.
We were In the front of the hotel, where we could watch all the people below with
Large windows and still quite at night went you closed the curtains.
The elevator was small so we took the stairs a lot except with luggage. The breakfast was
Good and plentiful and there was a latte machine in the lobby where you could get a coffee
Anytime of the day for 1 euro and also a snack and drink machine which was
Very handy. The location for us was excellent since we wanted to be
Near Luxembourg Park and lots of cafés and pastry shops. There is also
Right on the corner a post office and an outside ATM machine which had
Very good rates for US dollars and was extremely safe to use. We would
Stay here again for sure and We thought the price for Paris was very reasonable.
Again Thank you Jamal for all your help.

We couldn't have asked for more. The location was amazing, only 2 blocks from the Seine, Ile de La Cite & Ile Saint Louis. Two blocks from the BatoBus stop, 2 blocks from the metro stop. An easy walk to the Jardin des Plantes, the Pantheon, The Cluny Museum, Le Jardin du Luxembourg. There are many restaurants and cafes within blocks. Really too many to choose from.
Both rooms we had were bigger than most hotel rooms we've stayed in. The bathrooms were actually quite large and the lighting was excellent. We could've used a couple of hooks, in the bathroom and an outlet for plugging things in, but it worked. The valance over the bed hadn't been dusted in a long while, but the rest of the room was very clean. The view from the windows was especially good from our room on the front side of the hotel and there were geranium window boxes in each window. The windows opened for fresh air and for gazing out on a Parisian street scene. Our adult children had a courtyard room. They thought it was fine, but didn't have much natural light or any idea what the weather was like since they couldn't see the sky. On the other hand, there wasn't much time spent in the room other than for sleeping. They did say though that it was very quiet!
Breakfast was delicious. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hard boiled eggs, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, yogurt, fruit.
The staff was very helpful offering good advice, maps & umbrellas and we were able to keep our suitcases in the hotel's luggage room for hours before checking in and after checking out. The staff were also very accommodating letting us open our suitcases in their sitting area to pull out raincoats and such before heading out to see the sites.
I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street. The interior court rooms are dark, although there is an interestin...

My boyfriend took me to Paris for my birthday and this is where we stayed. I can't remember exactly how much we paid but I remember that it was fair-priced enough to worry about what sort of hotel it would be. We travelled all night overnight (my boyfriend was determined to drive the whole way) and when we arrived we had to wait quite a long time for our room to be ready, which is the only reason this place has lost a point. We were utterly exhausted, and I feel like being offered a drink would have been a nice compromise! The room was absolutely beautiful, and right on the top floor. I absolutely hate lifts, and the stairs were quite steep, so that was a bit frustrating, but the room made up for it. It was small and didn't have much, but it was beautifully decorated and we didn't need much as we intended to spend a lot of time exploring the city. The location was absolutely perfect as we were just far enough out that we had peace and quiet, but so close to the centre that it was easy to explore! It's right in the Latin quarter (great for drinks and food) and unbelievably close to the Notre Dame cathedral. I highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Have a good old think about how much you like/dislike stairs and lifts - the lift is very old and qu...

Location is perfect: central Paris but a quiet street.. We visited Paris for my wife-s 70th birthday. Staff was extremely friendly and there was no problem with English at the desk (we do not speak French). The elevator is tiny (2 persons and a suitcase) but extremely fast. We took the breakfast and liked it. The staff remembered our choices for coffee (we stayed for a week). No restaurant but eating places abound all around. Most rooms are smallish which is usual for Paris (we stayed at a superior room which was large enough for our needs). Had to search for places for luggage and clothes but finally found them very cleverly tucked away in various corners. Clean. Would certainly like to return.

Lovely old school hotel. Very clean. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Location so handy to Notre Dam, metro, Pantheon, and lots of affordable restaurants.

Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in mid-March and found it to be an excellent hotel. It was less than 5 mins of a walk to the nearest metro station (the train netwok in Paris is one of the best we encountered around the world). It is about 20 mins of a walk to Notre Dame but a train will get you there quicker. The lift is tiny and there was a small bit of renovation work being carried out down the hall from us but it was never a disturbance.

Our room was on the 5 floor and it had a small balcony. There was a nice bathroom and the room was smallish (as I believe are most hotels in Paris) but well laid out and looked nice. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable hotel to stay in.

We didn't avail of the breakfast option so we cannot comment but there are loads of nice options very near with options between French Cafes or Breakfast in America. We found a nice restaurant called L'Aoc which was a short walk away from the hotel, it is a little expensive but worth it.

Room Tip: 5th floor rooms have balconcies

A nice hotel in respect of location, terrific staff, cleanliness, and comfort. The only downside is the tightly constrained space in the bedrooms. There is minimal luggage space and the bathroom and shower is small. If you are used to this and travelling light its fine but if you are a gererously sized person with a lot of luggage you would be better off paying more for more space. Third time here so far from bad!
