“Adorable hotel, good service, small room.”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pretty, older hotel. It is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and expensive for the items offered. The location was good with easy access to the Metro. There are good restaurants in the area. The typical amenities in US hotels were not available; the room was very basic. The bathroom was extremely small and the shower stall was so small it was difficult to wash. It appeared as if there had been a shower door at one time and a shower curtain was in place. It was too long and got in the way of showering plus it smelled. We would stay there again but only in a bigger room.

Room Tip: Spend a little more for a bigger room. We had a double room which seemed like a single room made int...

Our family of five stayed in July. We needed adjoining rooms that could accommodate us and three kids and Hotel Minerve did us fine. Great spot, clean rooms, good wifi, but exceptional service from the front desk made this hotel stand out.

The hotel itself is nothing special. Tiny worn out but clean rooms, minimal amenities, but first class reception desk personnel and a very good price for Paris. The location can't be beat. It is a short walk to and across the Seine on Pont de l'Archeveche (one of the bridge of locks), Notre Dame, Sainte Chapppell, The Pantheon (under construction) metro, and countless cafes and brasseries.

Room Tip: A room facing the courtyard is quieter than one facing the street.

We recently stayed a long weekend here. The location of the hotel is great. Just 5 minutes walk away from Norte-Dame and all the Central sights and restaurants. Close to Subways and easy Access. If you do not mind walking, you can from hotel to Panheon, Luxembourg park and catacombs. Also Norte-Dame, Louvre, LaFayette and Moulin Rouge.

As you are Close to St Germaine, you have numerous cafes and restaurants. A Perfect stay and a great hotel - just look at Our recommendation for rooms. First night we stayed in 206 (Close to nightmare, so we switched to 607). It's Paris and nothing is large, but very romantic and Nice room.

Room Tip: You do not want the smaller rooms. We had rooms both facing street and backyard. We preferred street...

For our weekend in Paris this hotel was fantastic. The most important thing was the location. It's a five minute walk from the mare quarter, a five minute walk from st Michelle area, less than 2 minute to the metro, very close to st Germaine. There are many cafés and bars around so it's just perfect. The hotel itself is charming, old building but the rooms are renovated and clean. There was enough space for us and the shower was also very good size. Staff was kind and helpfull. If you are looking for a good place in the middle of everything this hotel is a great choice.

The hotel is extremely well located just a short distance from almost all of the major attractions in Paris. Since we enjoy walking, a twenty or thirty minute walk is a breeze for us but if that isn’t your thing public transportation is also close by. The neighborhood is great. You really feel like you are experiencing Paris. There is a square just a few blocks from the hotel (recommended by one of the excellent staff) with a number of cafes serving inexpensive, good food. Lots of activity and people watching. We had a very comfortable room with plenty of space for our luggage. The bathroom was also quite roomy. On our list of things we look for in a hotel the Minerve hit every mark.

I was traveling to Europe in May with my grown son and we had an apartment
In Paris for a week and then we went to Brugge Belgium for a few days (Hotel Goezeput)
Very nice. Anyway then back to Paris for a 4 more days, so I looked on trip
Advisor and found this wonderful Hotel. We were met by Jamal, who made
Us welcome right from the start He was so helpful and friendly and he
Even went and got us ice for our room. Then we had asked for room 107
Because we had seen pictures and reviews of that room and thought it looked
Good and they gave us that room. It was pretty and had a painted ceiling and
comfortable beds and a very large and good bathroom. Plenty of plugs
For charging and a safe for your valuables. It was a small room for 2 people
Since we got twin beds but the room was so nice that we didn't care.
We were In the front of the hotel, where we could watch all the people below with
Large windows and still quite at night went you closed the curtains.
The elevator was small so we took the stairs a lot except with luggage. The breakfast was
Good and plentiful and there was a latte machine in the lobby where you could get a coffee
Anytime of the day for 1 euro and also a snack and drink machine which was
Very handy. The location for us was excellent since we wanted to be
Near Luxembourg Park and lots of cafés and pastry shops. There is also
Right on the corner a post office and an outside ATM machine which had
Very good rates for US dollars and was extremely safe to use. We would
Stay here again for sure and We thought the price for Paris was very reasonable.
Again Thank you Jamal for all your help.

Room Tip: If you want a quite room ask for one in the back, but if you want to people watch And see the actio...
