Excellent location; clean, comfortable room (superior); very courteous staff who spoke good English and helped with dinner, tour and taxi services. Promptly delivered breakfast. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: A larger room is a larger price, but well worth it.

+ hotel is located at the very heart of saint Germaine. 2 min away from the metro and surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
+ friendly staff
+ clean
- rooms are very small and stuffy,as air condition was not working and the heating could not be controlled.
- Our room was facing the street which was quite noisy, so if u are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you.
- expensive
- renovations going on at the moment
- if you have a pushchair, be prepared to leave it in the lobby because the lift is too small and the upstairs landing and room are too narrow to manoevre it.

We booked 2 standard rooms for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms were small but adequate for our needs. Hotel very clean and staff helpful. They were having the stairs re decorated at the time but they did e mail is about this and it made no difference to our stay. The location is great, easy to walk to many sights from there, and we walked there with luggage from Gare Du Nord as it was a very sunny day on our arrival. Lots of places to eat nearby too. We had rooms at the back so weren't affected by the noise from the street. The only "negative" is that the hotel breakfast, although nice, was expensive at 14 euros each. We got a brakfast for 4 of us at almost half the price arond the corner at the Atlas cafe.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back will be quieter, especially if you like to open your windows.

Hotel Le Regent is a small boutique hotel, with very helpful staff, located beautifully two blocks from the Seine. Great local restaurants, shops and street stands just outside the door. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Rooms 31 and 41 have large windows overlooking the street.

Stayed in a superior room in the front of the hotel. Reasonable size room (for Paris!), clean, well equiped and well decorated. Hotel staff very friendly, very relaxed atmosphere, breakfast in tiny cellar excellent. Great location on Rue Dauphine, a few minutes walk to the Seine or Boulevard St Germain.
Only drawback was street noise in the night - cafes opposite, traffic, rubbish collection in early hours etc. Recommended if you do not mind the noise or wear earplugs!

We loved staying here. It's in the midst of the St. Germain area: near the boulevard, just off the Rue de Buci open marketplace, easy walk to the river. We got a pretty room, spacious and airy, with 2 twins that you could push together to form a king bed. Wanted a street view, made sure we wouldn't be looking out on a roof or shaft. Everything was super clean, which is very important to me. Staff was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was the usual delicious baguette and croissant with coffee. Best thing is the location -- you can walk almost anywhere, and it's near the Metro if you need to go far. Hundreds of restaurants and cafes to walk to. We've recommended it to friends and we'd definitely stay here again. The 6th is our favorite area and this is the perfect base to explore the city.
