This hotel has an excellent location, right off the RER B line coming from the airport. There are tons of cafes and shops near by. I shopped around a lot, and it is definitely one the cheapest in the area, which was my main concern. Yes, the room was pretty tiny and if you are big person you may have troubles with the shower, but it was perfect for us. Not luxurious, but we just went there to sleep. Had fresh baguettes with butter, jam and coffee or tea every morning included, and that sealed the deal for me.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor so it was a lot of stairs, but it was not a problem for us.

This isn't a luxury hotel, far from it.But what it is is a fantastically located, friendly and for Paris, very competitively priced establishment surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants.Another plus if coming into CDG airport is that the train from there drops you just a five minute walk from the hotel. So no, not luxurious but all the other positives make this one Parisienne hotel hard to complain about.Have already booked again for our next trip.

500 year old building, where you have to lug your suitcase up the rickety stairs, but you can walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, St Germaine des Pres, you name it!! Clean and comfy and in the middle of all the Paris buzz. Loved it!

Room Tip: It's in the middle of Paris, so any room picks up street noise.

I loved this place. Was there with my parents. It is a typical old french building, quirky and a bit dark. but if you want the typical Parisian experience this is the place for you. Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff who helped me with finding the right bus and breakfast is included. Very good coffee, choice of jam/honey. Basic but good quality and filling. I recommend this hotel. Free wifi which worked well. It is excellent value for money. Just booked it for my next trip.

It's really hard to rate this place. We have been here at least half a dozen times and keep coming back. The location and the price is superb and it includes breakfast. The facilities are basic, our ensuite had a tiny and I mean tiny shower. But hey This is Paris ! The staff are Ok in their own way. It's a quirky place which makes you feel you are reliving your youth of the sixties (it's rumoured that the Rolling Stones stayed here before they were famous). But like a well worn cardigan it's a place that you just kind of like and keep wanting to use again and again ! "Peace and Love".

We chose this hotel due to the price but were so happy to find this hotel was clean, comfortable and an excellent location. We had a large number of restaurants, bars, shops and train entrances within a short walk and could easily access a large number of sites.

Room Tip: We stayed in their largest room (room 12) that had 1 queen and 1 double bed and it worked great to s...

This is a lovely historic hotel dating back to the three musketeers.I have stayed there on 4 occasions for the last 25 years. Great service and clean rooms and a lovely breakfast . It may be a problem for some as the stairs are steep and it is 99 steps to the top floor, non the less I have never been disappointed when I have stayed there. It is the heart of the Latin quarter near many good restaurants, shopping and sites.Easy access to any site you may want to see.

Room Tip: Ask for a lower floor if you have problems with to many stairs.
