I stayed in this hotel in the first week of May, 2014 with my family. Reservation staff is excellent and they deserve to be complimented for the efforts they made in answering e-mails and helping with reservations. Hotel is located at a central place and that is the main USP of this hotel. Rooms are average in size but very clean with good housekeeping. Staff at Reception is good and helpful. They do not have a proper concierge which is a big minus with the hotel. If you are visiting Paris for sightseeing and are not familiar with the city and its main attractions then you have very little help available. Reception staff tries to help you with answers to your questions but the quality varies substantially across different managers/ staff members. We had mixed experiences. One staff member was so inadequate that he not only failed to answer basic minimum questions for nearest Metro station and processes involved in going to a particular place that we wanted to visit. He completely goofed up and gave wrong information resulting in lots of inconvenience. We got in a complete mess till a kind soul on the station helped us. In addition when we returned back to the hotel and mentioned this to this staff member, he rather than apologizing for his mistakes, confronted us and found fault with our understanding! A very good stay in the hotel otherwise got overshadowed by this incident. No senior manager in the hotel is available to deal with such encounters and at times one feels that one is staying in a self-service apartment.

Breakfast at the hotel is very good and if you make online booking then the promotional rate for the breakfast is a deal!

A good place to stay and with little improvements they can do better.

I stayed here with my husband during a long weekend in May for 2 nights. The hotel was in a great location, around the corner from George 5th metro (so direct line to most tourist attractions), but away from the noise of Champs Elysées. We walked easily to L'Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower. The area is very clean and safe.
The staff at the hotel were very welcoming, the hotel clean and modern and the evening turn-down service added to the experience. When we arrived, we were greeted with yummy macaroons in the room - a nice little surprise. The room (classic double) was not very big, but served us perfectly for 2 nights. The bathroom was also very clean with a great shower. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so cannot really comment on that.
Overall a very pleasant stay in a good area.

We stayed 2 days midweek beginning of April, family of four, in the Lavender suite. It is not actually a suite of rooms but one large room with a not-quite-ceiling-height wall built to separate lounge area from the enormous bathroom. A large alcove houses the queen size bed. Curtains can be used to separate these areas. This suited us very well as our young children were essentially in the same room as us but just a little way off. There is a double sofa bed but a single sofa bed and cot were provided at no extra charge because we booked through the hotel's own website. The room is on the ground floor off the lobby so no lugging bags very far but if other guests roll in late or get up early then you may be disturbed. The floors are mostly wooden but tiled in the bathroom area, which is the main feature of this room. A large, free-standing bath is the centrepiece, very good for childrens' bath time. There is a separate shower and toilet, plenty of towels and L'Occident soaps etc. We opted for the reduced green rate tariff and chose not to have daily towel changes or a turn-down service (no great loss). We didn't take up the offer of a reduced breakfast rate and had the room service breakfast which was fine. The staff were very helpful and eager to please. The hotel location is ideally situated for walking to L'Arc, Champs & the Eiffel Tower.

Stayed for the weekend, had previously booked at the sister Bassano but for a water leak problem we have been placed to the Elysee and upgraded to a superior tier room... No extra cost, very nice touch. Location is excellent, fantastic staff. Nice room, very good bathroom, maybe a coffee machine would have made the perfect score.
We did not try breakfast as we had it with friends at another brasserie. We 'll be back for sure.

Avenue Marceau leads the Champs Elysees to the River Seine and thus the Eiffel Tower. Therefore the location of this hotel is ideal. Once greeted by very friendly and informative staff, we were told we were upgraded to a 'superior' room free of charge. Great! The room was of significant size relative to Parisian standards with a sizeable French balcony, and was finished with nice touches such as complimentary L'Occitane toiletries/ macaroons etc... No problems with check-in also. Could not have been happier! Beds were comfy although the shower was slightly temperamental!

I did not eat here however the restaurant adjacent to the hotel I would recommend for breakfast.

However....after having left the balcony door open for a significant amount of time my partner informed me she had seen a mouse. Fault probably lies with ourselves and not the hotel but having the balcony open for a long time is surely this is not too much to ask. Once notifying staff we were moved to another superior room instantly, and despite the hotelier and I's best efforts, we were unable to find the mouse. (I'm not sure there even was a mouse! )

I say this hotel is 'almost' perfect not because of the incident above, but because everything was forgotten about the morning after. Having my partner not sleeping well huddled up in the second room petrified you would have thought a freebie or two would have been given, but no!

I must say though that for Paris this hotel is great value for money, comfortable and practical but still with a sense of originality in an ideal location, albeit a good distance from a near metro station. Not for those then with a disability. Staff are great and Wi-Fi is free for those business travellers!

We stayed in the Regencia between Jan 10-12th.
The staff were very nice and the hotel is located in an excellent spot as it is near all the shops on the Champ Elysees. It is also a 10-15 minute walk from the eiffel tower. Also at the top of the road is the Arc de triomphe. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Elysees Regencia, Paris. The location was perfect, just a couple of mins from the Champs Elysees and five minutes from the arc de Triomphe. Yes, our toilet was separate to the bathroom.... 2 yards away (Previous review comment). Disadvantage - not in same room. Advantage - one can bath, shower, get ready to go out, whilst other visits the little boys room. Our room was both lovely and clean with safe, tv and fridge. The only little niggle was that it was adjacent to the stairs, so you could hear comings and goings. Shops, supermarkets, subway etc all very close. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly return.

Room Tip: Any room not near the stairs.
