“It is spectacular”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

I don't have anything new to say, except that this is FREE and it is spectacular. This is a must-do and must-see while in Paris. It is stunning on the inside and outside. Expect long lines to get in but the line moves quickly. Don't forget to check out the garden in the back.

“South Bell Tower Was Closed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

Something you definitely have to do while in Paris, but the south bell tower was closed for renovations which was a disappointing after the long wait in line.

“400 Steps”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 August 2014

Despite poor health I managed to climb the 400 steps to the top and was really glad I did. The down side is that I qued one and a half hours to do it.

“The view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

I would definitely recommend giving yourself time for the lineup alone. I was lined up for almost 2 hours to gain entry, with the end of the line almost wrapping around the back end of the cathedral. I am glad I had a book handy. It is worth the wait, though.

“Sad to see it crumble”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

The Notre-Dame is certainly one of those rare buildings that grow on you every time you see it. Unfortunately, the socialist government has allowed this great monument to crumble. Worse, all around the place, one could see human faeces and urine in any nook and corner that is not immediately visible. The cathedral itself was poorly maintained with black stains from smog and pure neglect. How can Paris let this happen to such a monument?
