We were lucky to use the Gare du Nord as a travel stop. It is the busiest railway station in Paris as it is not only used for the metro trains but many coming and going from other major cities such as London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Frankfurt.
Buses can be caught outside as well as taxis.
What we loved was the beautiful facade and the funky art outside. There were lots of food and coffee stalls inside as well as outside.
