“The Best Tour”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

I highly recommend this tour over any others in Paris. The small group made it very easy to interact with the others in our group. Our guide, Lisa, made it seem as if she was a friend showing friends the best things Paris had to offer in wine, cheeses, chocolates and pastries. We learned a lot of things, sampled the best and enjoyed her interaction with the local shopowners... Finished with wine and cheese sampling and enjoying the company of our group... Do not miss it!

“Gourmet walking tour”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

A wonderful walking/tasting tour of the best shops in the 6th. Lisa was very knowledgeable about the foods, shops, shop owners and we were not disappointed in any of the stops. It was a perfect sampling of the wonderful foods of France. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris.

“Highly Recommend”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

I hope I have enough characters available to rave about this experience! This was our first trip to Paris, and this tour was very early on in our stay (morning of the second day). For us, this was a great way to start our trip; an insiders guide to one of the best neighborhoods in Paris, with amazing food and company to top it off.

The booking process was painless, and it was easy to find our tour guide (and owner) Lisa at the St. Germaine Church, the starting point of a very enjoyable 3 hours. Lisa and the tour exceeded our expectations. She was lovely, very knowledgeable about the area, and obviously had great relationships with the store owners we visited. The locations chosen, and their respective food items, were varied and delicious. We ended up buying a few things on our own in each (be prepared for that, because you will want to!) as well as booking a brunch reservation for the following day at one location, because we were so impressed and inspired.

Highly recommend this to anyone. Probably best for those newer to Paris, or those who are looking to explore the St. Germaine neighborhood. If you eat beforehand, do it as early as you can, because you start with a cafe and croissant, and then eat your way to through the morning, ending with some cheese, wine and pastries for lunch. Excellent! Thank you Lisa!!

“Must do when in Paris”

Before you do the tourist sightseeing experiences, we highly recommend you do the Flavours of Paris walking tour with Lisa. She takes you to places you would never find. Her local knowledge and food appreciation excell on this tour. One tip, do NOT have breakfast before the tour as we started with croissant and coffee, followed by tastings of chocolates, cheeses, olive oils, pates, then the most amazing macaroons as only the French can do, yummy pastries, sweet treats it was all a wonderful "foodie" experience. Do your self a favour - book it now.

“Good food, good company”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Our tour with Lisa was memorable for multiple reasons however mostly because she took us to some amazing shops with delicious food and produce and helped us experience some of the best aspects of French cuisine. I highly recommend this tour. Lisa was a great guide, very knowledgeable with clearly good relationships with the businesses. Lisa was also very helpful when we found ourselves in a spot of bother and she and the wonderful cheese seller could not have helped more!!
