A truly great little restaurant with the perfect wine pairing to an incredibly array of tasting dishes.

A romantic atmosphere and great staff to create the perfect evening out.

Although it was a tasting menu we felt fulfilled but not bloated as most others leave you. The wines were superb and the whole pace perfectly executed.

See you soon!

This was the third visit to Verjus-great degustation menu which we had with the matched wines, though it will probably be the last visit-being accosted by the waitstaff on the stairs after using the bathroom which was used the last time we were here, and told it was a PRIVATE BATHROOM and the PUBLIC BATHROOM IS DOWNSTAIRS! was jarring -rather than finishing with extras we got the bill and left-i live in Darlinghurst, if i wanted to subject my partner and i to hipster rudeness I dont need to travel to Paris to do it.

The food was amazing. They had a fixed menu, which I loved because I got to try so many different courses. The wine pairing was worth it and all the food was creative but balanced. I was dining by myself because I got stranded alone for the night, and I got squeezed in because they had an extra table from a no-show. The wait staff were very nice about me not having a reservation and they were all so welcoming and friendly, it made the experience very comfortable. The staff is also very knowledgable about each ingredient, how it is prepared and what each dish has to offer. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The reviews had me excited but I ended up a little disappointed purely based on expectations.

No soft drinks (wine or water), hurried service, with plates coming almost as soon as they old ones were taken away. Food was very good and fairly innovative, but I wouldn't call it "excellent" by any stretch.

Per other reviewers, this is a bit of an expat/tourist restaurant. Nothing wrong with that, but don't expect it to be a local neighbourhood restaurant.

A friend of the staff/owner visited during service, and stood in the kitchen holding their dog for about 15 minutes. Wagging tail, not very hygienic.

Blogs, magazines & reviews lead me to have dinner here. At 68 euros this didn't seem expensive for a great restaurant - but the food served wasn't actually something that you want to be served in a restaurant. Ingredients were cheap & nothing was actually done with them. The only dish you might expect in a restaurant - the beef was too salty, dry & tasteless. The waiter wore trainers & the wine pairing was nothing special.
No french people were observed in the fully booked restaurant. Any bistro, brasserie or supermarket have better food.
