We were looking to go to a real Jazz club in Paris and this is one.
Small, intimate, emphasis on the quality of the Jazz not the food (didn't eat there) or drink which were both average.
But the Jazz was great.
We saw the Omer Klein trio and although Omer was not well, there was nothing wrong with his music.
Usual deal with Jazz Clubs, first in best seated but we were amongst the last but ended up almost within touching distance.
There are no bad seats with Jazz.
Highly recommended.

Do not forget to reserve your places in this club, if you are a lover of small jazz ensembles. Entrance fee is quite high, as are the prices of the drinks and snacks, but you get live music almost on your lap! We have seen great performers here.

It is becoming a bit of a pilgrimage every year I go to Paris for a couple of nights. I take time to walk down to the club from the Rue de Berri and always enjoy the ambience, the friendly welcome and music - and especially the walk back up the Rue de Rivoli at night. The music is excellent and never disappoints and I simply book on line for the 8-10pm show from home and wave the printed e-mail to secure entry.
Two beers and a bit of food was not expensive and well timed and served; and if you just want a relaxing couple of hours of high class, professional entertainment then it is worth giving this venue a go.

We got there around 23:30 and waited a little bit to get inside. The second show is free and usually features someone new in the block/area. Nice ambiance, small and intimate stage -- we advise you to stay in the ground floor although they have tv set all around the bar.

Wine and beverage list are a bit expensive but they were not charging for the artist so it's worth it. If you like jazz, it has all the elements from the bepop movement back in the old parisian times.

Enjoyed the music but not queueing outside on a January night waiting for them to let us in for the 2nd show. If we hadn't already bought the tickets, we d thrown in the towel and walked away.
The music was good for an hour but it's pricey for 56 euros for 2. Not fussed about going back or standing in the cold. Very interested in ticket sales but interest dwindles after that.
