Some day in the future, this could be an underground museum, the star focus of being the labyrinthine passages. It is just so confusing, with so many "Sortie" and Metro lines. The passages are somewhat narrow and old too, so they get creepy when deserted, and really unpleasant if crowded.

And I'm not even factoring in the construction work ongoing.

My suggestion. If you are taking the RERs, enter directly at the Les Halle entrance. Don't even try to enter from the Chatelet entrances.

Vice versa. If you just reached the station from the airport, get out at the nearest exit. Don't aim for any particular one. It is FAR easier to navigate once you are above-ground and out of it.

The mall has some nice shops, but it is very easy to get lost in and no signage. We could not find our way out! Some interesting artwork. Stop by if you are in the area, but don't make the extra trip.

This shopping centre is undergoing a massive redevelopment and is currently one great big building site. Would of been easier to close the whole place down, completed the task in half the time and just leave access to the metro and RER station below.
A lot of the signs were misguiding, leading to dead ends where sections of the shopping centre had closed whilst building works occurred.
There's no natural daylight, and if you looked close enough, everything seemed to have a fine layer of dust over it.
Looking at the finished plans, this is going to be a spectacular place, just seems a long way to go right now. Wait until 2016 when this project should be finished by, and enjoy the visit properly.
On the positive side, its a really great destination for connections with several Metro and RER lines running through the station.

Went there expecting a nice mall, we were wrong.
The mall is not only ugly as sin, it is smelly.
Stay clear of this 'mall'.

This is a huge shopping mall in a basement and it lacks fresh air. The place is simply too big - if you want to visit a certain shop you need to walk for ages, if you are lucky enough to find your way in this labyrinth. Needing a restroom I had to walk for 15 minutes and pay half a euro. We could not find a decent place to eat so we attempted to leave the place, looking for subway line number one: a long, frustrating walk that reminded me of my visit to the Catacombes a day earlier. I was glad I finally managed to escape and will never visit again!
