We came here because it was near to our hotel. The menu is rather limited because it has a large section of tartare and hamburgers. We are not into raw beef and we didn't come to Paris to eat hamburgers so we focused on the other options.
We ordered the foie gras and eggplant starters. The foie gras was excellent. The eggplant starter a rather small portion with very little mozzarella and an uninteresting tomato sauce. But the eggplant was well cooked.
For the mains Cod fish and a steak smothered in foie gras sauce. My fish was dry and overcooked but the steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy with excellent flavor. The chef spared no expense with the foie gras sauce. It was excellent.
This restaurant has great staff and large portions. It is not pretentious In anyway - if anything it's way laid back for French restaurants. Aside from the desert The food is not really presented artistically as one normally expects in a French restaurant. It's presented family style without any fanfare. But it all tasted good.
