“Just to sleep in”
Reviewed 17 October 2012

Nice reception as you go in hides a disaster around the corner, Small lift, Shabby decor got worse in room Broken bathroom door, Broken bathroom window aloud little sleep dont mind the noise in the area as that is where we picked but would like to shut it away if I want.
Complaint went unnoticed Told everything was ok when we cameback nothing had been done.

Room Tip: Pick a top floor great views

Good location but rooms are so small and bath is awful. After the bath water gets everywhere and rooms curtains cannot be closed. Montmarte ,sacre coure and moulin rouge is so close to the otel. Get a wine and go to the Sacre Coure at night. You have to live it

Room Tip: if you want to be close to moulin rouge or sacre coure you can hire a room

October was nice no AC needed, yes elevator gave me good sign I need downsize me and my laggage too- another wake up call, most bother drunks at pub singing till 2am and at the end of the day I was refused cup of hot water for tea from kitchen for "energy safety"???good I had Internet access and even was lucky to print few pages from front desk, thnks no paper or ink safety yet, over all for 1 st time OK and Paris itself compensated the small stuff, I ll be back to Paris but not this hotel, merci arevoir

My trip to Paris and London in August 2011 (with my parents and brother) was booked a little late and a lot of the hotels I had an eye on were booked, so I chose the Comfort Hotel because I generally had a fairly good experience with the chain and although its was pricey by Canadian standards, it was a pretty good deal for staying in Paris. I arrived at the hotel from the airport by subway (DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU HAVE SEVERAL PIECES OF LUGGAGE) and the hotel was supposed to be 5 minutes from the nearest subway station, and it was, but it was so uphill and hidden in a tiny corner of a tiny street. Anyways, I arrived at the hotel and tried to take the elevator upstairs. One problem: the elevator is about 2 sq. feet at max. We got to our rooms quite some time later (we booked 2 separate rooms, holding 2 people each) and the room size was laughable. It was SO EXTREMELY SMALL I can't express it in words. There was barely space to unpack. As for the location the subway was at a really close walking distance, but it's easy to forget that when you can't sleep at night due to the millions of bars and nightclubs outside and the yelling drunks. All in all, this visit to Paris was very hampered by this hotel and it's unsafe neighborhood. I'll be back to Paris, but definitely not to this hotel.

Hotel is in a great Area, and is reasonably priced (if you buy it on kayak.com). BUT, you get what you pay for!!!

1) NO air conditioning! You are told to open your windows "and it will be bearable". It is barely, if you take a cold shower first! AND, if you can sleep with the drunks right outside at the pub across the alley! Plus, the hotel directly across can look right into our room.
2) these are the smallest rooms I have ever seen! You can't even walk around the bed. The bathroom is the size of a closet.
3) There is nothing in the room: no coffee, no drawers for clothes, ans not even a fan in bath

Rooms are clean, but that's it! Pay a little more and stay somewhere better! I would, but they are all booked, and I'm stuck here,

Warning!!! Black mold threat is eminent in this hotel!!! I woke up every morning wheezing and sniffly, barely able to breath due to the mold in this hotel. The only saving grace was the location and the fact that our room had a terrace where we could sit and sip wine at night. The size of the room itself was adequate for a single and the hotel staff was nice. If it weren't for the mold this hotel would have a good rating, but I would never stay here again and would prefer to pay more money and stay at a healthier hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a non-mold room as well as either a 'Deluxe Room' or one on the 5th floor with a ter...

The pros: great location, right in the heart of Montmartre, near many brassieres and shops. Low price.

The cons: Tiny, tiny rooms. I've travelled a lot through Europe, and am familiar with smaller European rooms, but this was not good. The room itself is pretty much all bed, and the bathroom was not much larger than an airplane bathroom. I would have been okay with the size if the room was clean, but there was mold all over the shower and ceiling, to the point that my fiancé had horrible wheezing and sneezing every time we were in the room.

All in all, next time, I'd probably rather pay a few more euros a night to stay somewhere nicer. This place isn't worth it.
