All the commun area at the ground floor is great and very cute.
The experience is getting wrong when you get the elevator, and discover the room. Dusty and not very generous. If you book with internet price, it's really OK for what you can get in Paris.

My friends and I stayed in Hotel Paradis for a couple of nights. The location was okay but the hotel itself left a lot to be desired for. The elevator could only fit 1 person and a luggage. As you enter the room, you are welcomed by a distinct smell of mold/mildew. The closet was very small and could barely fit anything. The door does not close properly and was hanging crooked off the hinge. The wifi has very poor signal strength.
I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Horrible Staff, they never smile and they don't help you in nothing about the city. A book guide will help you more than them. All the time long faces with no blood in their veins. The higher floors with an horrible smell. And the most claustrophobic elevator I've Ever seen. A breakfast with no surprises. If you want to enjoy París the best option is to choose another hotel.

Considering that this Paris and Paris is never cheap, you get a lot of good things here for a low price.
The location is perfect, from Marais to Montmatre, everything is near by, as well as restaurants, café, bars, supermarkets. I felt save and it was the perfect inbetween "real" Paris and some "touristy" Paris. Perfect!
The overall design is lovely and beautiful, I found the staff very nice and helpful.
The rooms are basic (no minibar, no robe etc.), but clean and practical.

The downside: It's pretty noisy, the walls are thin, you hear your neighbours alarm clock, talking, door closing. Something that made me wake up about 2-3 times per night.
You only get french television, that's not dramatic and I never thought something like this bothers me, but some international channels would be nice. Also, the Wlan doesn't work right.

Overall, it's fine for a short visit and if you don't expect too much (you just can't for that price in Paris!) - staff, deco and location are nice! Don't expect luxury, but a very pretty budget hotel.

I've just stayed at Hotel Paradis for one night with work. It's down the road from my office and I was hoping to make it my regular business hotel.
Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service and rooms - my room was on the top floor and smelt badly of damp.
The decor itself was lovely and the bed very comfortable.
No tissues or shaving socket provided. The main issue was noise - from a constant background hum, plus bathroom plumbing noise. The worst however was the thin walls between my room and next door - disgusting bathroom sounds from the next room.
Wifi didn't work in my room on the 6th floor.
Breakfast very basic.
When trying to speak to the reception/manager I was ignored and passed over for a new customer. I walked out.

Very noisy rooms with pillows like stone. We could follow the neighbours' conversation and by the way, it was not very interesting. Next to that the bathroom smelled bad for three days. And the rooms were quite small. Price was acceptable for the location, which is good.

Terrible.

I arrived on time for a one night stay with my gf for her first night in Paris, and was told when checking in they no longer had the room I had reserved and paid for available.

They then, without apologising, told us to walk to another hotel down the road, similar to a travelodge. This was where we would have to stay, as we had no back up, we were left with no option. I asked for some help but was not offered any type of compensation.

I asked for a refund, and was told it was not possible, and asked for discount or to be compensated in some way for not letting me stay in the hotel I had paid for, and without giving knowledge of this until i arrived, and they simply said no.

When leaving, I walked past another customer, and he was being told exactly the same thing. Worst customer service and hotel I have ever stayed in (and I've been to some bad places).

DO NOT BOOK OR STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!
