Owner description: There’s a reason why our tours are top-rated food tours on TripAdvisor and have been celebrated by The New York Times (twice!) and knowledgable foodies like David Lebovitz and Ruth Reichl: we keep our group sizes tiny, we spend generously at the best shops in town, and we only work with expert guides who have devoted their lives to food & wine. Our tours are in English and last for around 3 hours. They include some walking and standing, but also feature a seated tasting with wine pairings. Our tours are designed for adults. We’re unable to host children under ten years of age. Our price of 110€ per person is a little higher than the competition because we spend more than anyone else on premium tastings and to pay the most experienced and knowledgable guides in Paris. You’re also paying for the tiny group size.

This was an amazing way to spend the day! Diane R. Was a fabulous guide and we enjoyed the other couples in the tour. The food shopping was delightful and educational and opened a new world on how to order cheese and chocolate and not offend the shopkeeps. I would strongly recommend this tour to all foodies out there!

Just can’t say enough about this experience. It’s everything they describe. Well worth the money! Our guide was such an expert on food, I felt privileged to learn so much from her. The SAint Germaine area was so beautiful also but without our guides inside knowledge we would have been lost! Our guide also included a list of stops and all foods tasted in an email after the tour was over. Very helpful for finding all our favorite spots again after the tour. Thanks again Diane!

Food tours are always top of my to-do list when I visit a new city. The Marais food tour with Aurélien was exceptional as he has been working within the food industry (with restaurants and chefs) for many years, and he is a true local. Not only did he take us to culturally significant places to sample delicious foods, but he also provided very interesting information about each stop and some relevant history and facts. I loved walking into different shops where Aurélien would order different things, which all came together at our final stop where we tasted the purchases, paired with different wines. I learned so much about the wines and cheeses of France with Aurélien. He was completely professional, but it still felt like you were hanging out with a foodie friend.

Our guide Stephen was knowledgable and fun and his enthusiasm for his subject was evident. On our tour of the Left Bank, Stephen brought us to a variety of shops, where he explained the history of each place and their wares and where he made purchases of croissants and pastries (from the shop awarded the best croissants of 2018), cheeses, charcuterie, chocolates and cakes, which we all got to eat at our end destination in an underground room of a wine shop, along with trying a few different wines. Our party of 6 all had a great time and were so glad that we took this tour and we even went back to several of the shops after the tour, to make purchases to bring home.

My friends and I booked the Taste of Marais tour, and it was awesome! We were glad we did this tour at the beginning of our trip. Not only did we get to taste a ton of incredible food - my mouth is watering just thinking about it - but what we learned on the tour helped us make better/more informed decisions about what we should eat for the remainder of our trip.

Our guide, Andrés, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, passionate about food, kind, and spoke very good English. I also found it very helpful that he sent a follow up email with all of the places we visited, what we ate, and a list of artisan cheeses that we could find back home in the states!

If you want to do a food and wine tour, this one is a winner. Make sure to come hungry!
