We stayed for 7 nights at this lovely and convenient hotel, just a couple of blocks to the Champs Elysées neighborhood and the Eiffel tower as well as the metro. The staff was very patient with our lack of French language skills and helped us with some reservations and confirmation phone calls. There are a lot of restaurants as well as pharmacies and mini marts and of course a lot of high end shopping within 1-2 blocks. I was wishing for a small couch instead of the chairs in the room since dealing with jet lag and wide awake at 3 AM and trying to not wake up my spouse I was kind of stuck, but that was minimal. We had the breakfast every morning served by an attentive staff and often had a nightcap at the bar.
This was a recommendation from United Vacations and I was a little hesitant because it was not mentioned in Fodor's or Lonely Planet Tour books but I'm glad we went with it, very different from the Courtyard Marriotts I am usually relegated to on business trips. I'm not sure that small children would find it too exciting, but as a adult couple we loved it.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the inside which was not that impressive, you might ask about a street view

We stayed at the Franklin Roosevelt hotel for a week and loved it. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The closet and shelves were roomy enough to hang your clothes and store your belongings. The room, no. 44 on the 4th floor, was also equipped with a flat screen TV and a mini-refrigerator stocked with drinks and snacks. Bed was very comfortable and there was a desk and two extra chairs for sitting. Two French windows opened out to a small balcony and the quiet street below. The bathroom was decorated in marble, sink was spacious with enough room for your personal items and the shampoo, soap and other toiletries provided by the hotel were of excellent quality. The one thing to keep in mind about the bathroom is that the bathtub is high and narrow. It really feels like you have to step up to get in and if you have any physical problems that might be an adjustment.
Breakfast was served in two lovely rooms on the first floor that felt like a garden. Food was healthy, plentiful, varied and served buffet style. There was granola, fresh, canned and dried fruit, pastries, croissants, breads, jams and cheeses, and hot buffet items included scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. The friendly staff were very solicitous and brought pots of coffee or tea to the table.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in to our departure, especially our favorite concierge Gaelle, who confirmed our restaurant reservation, checked church hours and booked us a taxi to the airport for our departure. She even got the hotel’s tech guy to fix the wireless reception on my tablet.
The location is good for the Champs Elysées neighborhood and the Eiffel tower area. It is close to buses and the Metro at Alma-Marceau.
We had a lovely week at the Hotel Franklin Roosevelt

Room Tip: Rooms on the south give a lovely view of the street.

Amazing location, very nice and helpful staff, they always had a smile and ready to help us with any question. The rooms are comfortable and most important details "VERY CLEAN", the hotel is very cousy and the lounges in the reception area are great for a drink. The only thing that was not working very good was wi-fi but for the rest 5*.
Thank you

Ideally located for shops, theatres, and dining out. Metro only ten minutes away. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful Small breakfast room serving excellent hot and continental food.
Theatre trips arranged by receptionist and taxis available within a few minutes! Rooms well appointed, spotlessly clean with well stocked bar and tea and coffee making facilities.
We most certainly recommend this hotel to all our family and friends.

This intimate hotel just off the Champs-Elysee was so convenient! The staff was very friendly, the breakfast delicious, rooms clean and roomy (we had a suite for three) and the bathroom was lovely and spacious. Only recommendation is that if the toilet is going to be on the other side of the suite, a sink there for washing hands would be handy.

We had a wonderful break in Paris - April 2014- made more so by our stay at the Hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt, where we had a superior room with very good facilities. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and spoke excellent English. There was a choice of a full continental or cooked breakfast each morning and for a central hotel in a busy area our room was exceptionally quiet and comfortable. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from several metro lines which was very convenient for a variety of museums, galleries, restaurants and parks. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other travellers.Bon Voyage!
