“Small but great”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Their two beds is actually one queen bed divided in half. When you try and separate the two, there is not enough space to walk towards the door - that's how small it is! I can't really give a bad review on this one since this is the only hotel I have stayed in Paris. Overall, the service was great. One more thing. Water is not free, nor is served at the breakfast room. You have to get your own water from the vendo machine. The hotel is also walking distance to a lot of local shops and restaurants, and the train station. You can buy your water supply from the convenience store. Banks and atms are also walking distance.

Dear mazetravel,

Thank you for leaving your impressions on Tripadvisor.

We are sorry that you could not find any bottle of water in the breakfast room. We always have bottles of water at the buffet. You can also have water for free from the coffee machine in the reception. In Paris the top water is also drinkable. Don’t hesitate next time to ask any of our front desk employees (available 24/24).

We always try to do our best to make sure our guests have a nice stay with us, and we hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back in our hotel.

Thank you once again to live your impressions.

Best regards,
The hotel management

We arrived around 10am to our hotel but check in wasn't until 2pm. They let us check our luggage. There was a young man that was so helpful-he gave us a map and gave us a quick over view of where we were and where everything else was in the near by areas. During our 7night stay he was the most helpful and friendly person ( I hate that we forgot to ask his name). My husband and I both were very surprised since we heard the French are not very helpful people. He gave us ideas of places to eat, explained to us how the bus and metro system worked. He was always there to answer our questions and give us advice. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly.
The location was just 5 min to the closest Metro. Nearby plenty of sights to see with in walking distance.
The room was small (we stayed in room 202) but it is Paris. It was plenty big for us and we had 3 suitcases-2 backpacks and a large shoulder bag. The shower had great water pressure and the water stayed warm through 2 long showers each morning. They didn't have the air conditioner on during our stay since it was in the 50's-60'sF...but I like to be really cold when I sleep. We just opened up the balcony door and closed the curtains to let in the cold air. The street is pretty busy so there is a lot of car noise but if you are tired its easy to fall asleep to.
We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Paris. We really enjoyed the service we received and our room. Oh and they have FREE Wi-Fi-that is a huge plus for my husband!

A clean, well run hotel with friendly staff just a short walk from RER B / Metro Luxembourg (straight line in from Paris CDG airport). The hotel was busy but the reception staff always had time to respond to varied requests - helping me find a particular store I needed, recommending places to eat (all price ranges) and induging my desire to speak French. I was attending a conference but would certainly return for a city break. Good value for money.

A good three-star hotel in a very convenient location in the 5e. Located about 200m from the Metro (RER line B station at Luxembourg). About 20 mins walk to Blvd St Germain and 30 mins from Notre Dame. Rooms are a good size for central Paris, clean and in very good decorative order. Although it was on a big-ish street, it was quiet at night. Staff is friendly and efficent. If you don't want to pay 12 Euros for breakfast there are loads of small cafes within a few hundred metres. Free wifi but (our only complaint and a minor one) you have to log in again every time you use it.

This hotel is nicely located, close to the Luxembourg RER B station, Pantheon, Marie Curie Laboratory, Jardins de Luxembourg. I found the hotel a bit pricy at €133/night + €12 breakfast. I had breakfast in the café next door for €7. My room was small, quiet, and a bit warm when I arrived.

Room Tip: When on the road side, the rooms on the upper floors are quieter. Single rooms really have a single...

I work in a TTOO in London. I made quite a few group enquiries to Andre Latin Hotel in the past few months. I had a group in option confirmed in written until the 27th of February and has been released without any explanation, solution, appology,.. All what the Reservations Manager could tell me was "desole" the bedrooms are gone.
Where did all the customer service manners go? We all can understand mistakes,... it happens! However hotels are still in a position to take their responsibilities even in Paris! a than popular and demanded destination.
