“A wonderful stay!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2012

Whilst I could be swayed by the magic of Paris I can truly say we had a wonderful stay in a wonderful boutique hotel. Yes the room was small, it is Paris after all and space is a premium. We paid extra for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and boy it didn't disappoint! The room was decorated beautifully and was lovely and clean, the bathroom was good for such a small space. The service and courtesy the staff extended was excellent and we were made to feel very comfortable. We were certainly not told we couldn't bring food or drink into our room, we didn't because who would with so many fabulous eateries around the corner?!!

The only downfall is that we were not told there was a cold drinks dispenser at the bottom of the stairwell (we found it on the day we checked out) and it would have been good if there was a small bar area where you could relax and mingle with the other guests at the end of a busy day sightseeing.

We will definitely be going back to both Paris and this lovely boutique hotel!

Room Tip: It is worth paying the extra for the room with a view!

It was the BEST birthday gift ever! My college friend and I traveled to Paris to celebrate our July birthdays and spent 6 wonderful nights at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel. This beautiful boutique hotel was truly a home away from home for us. To start, the staff--especially the concierges, Arnaud, Cedric, and Matthias--were most welcoming, accommodating, and treated us like family. We SO appreciated their above-and-beyond help with providing us a cozy room, great tips on not-to-miss places to visit, assuring us reservations at some of the best restaurants in town, and for delightful conversations! The hotel and rooms were a treat for the eyes, colorfully decorated with themes of Paris to fit the boutique theme. The beds were big and extremely comfortable, providing a heavenly sleep after walking each day to see the sights of Paris. Although right in the city, the rooms were quiet, keeping out street noise and thick curtains provided a darkened room for the jet-lagged. The bathrooms were luxurious and clean and offered L'Occitane soaps, lotions, and lip gloss for a spa-like treat! Air-conditioning cooled us down after a warm day's walk and windows opened up to a scenic look out at other apartments (which we found out housed the actual Eiffel Tower builders!) and down on the quiet small street below. Each day our rooms were cleaned marvelously and we SO appreciated the maid staff for their wonderful work to make our stay so comfortable. We stayed the first 5 nights on floor 4, which allowed for a nice street view looking over the flower box hanging out our window. However, the final night we were treated to a night on the 6th floor with a grand view of the Eiffel Tower. We would highly recommend spending a little more for the Eiffel Tower view...as we didn't want to leave! The hotel is located in the prime spot...only about a 5 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, the metro stop "Ecole Militare", and Rue Cler market area. It is also surrounded by devine restaurants including Les Cocottes de Christian Constant and literally right next door is FL Restaurant (ranked #1 on Trip Advisor at the time), both serving simply delicious food! It is also within walking distance to a laundromat, multiple cafes, bakeries & fromage (cheese) shops, boutique shops, a small supermarket, and other restaurants. Overall, we were so delighted and overjoyed with our stay and wish to thank the staff for making our stay truly a home away from home. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Upon returning to the States form a 6 day trip to Paris, I realize that one of the reasons why I want to go back is because of the wonderful stay at Hotel de Londres Eiffel. The entire staff, especially Arnaud, Cedric, and Matthieus made our short stay so much more memorable (helping with reservations, directions, and helpful tips). The rooms were very clean, roomy, and comfortable. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the Eiffel tower, Rue Cler, and the metro!

I can't say enough about the hotel and the staff! I hope everyone comes to stay at Hotel de Londres Eiffel!

We stayed for 5 nights and were very pleased with our visit. The location was great - just down one block from the popular #69 bus and a short walk to Ecole Militaire metro. The Eiffel tower was only 5 minutes away which we made a habit of walking to every evening to see it light up at dusk. There are several wonderful cafes and shops as well as laundry in the neighborhood.

We were a family of four so we booked two rooms - each with a double bed. The rooms were on the 5th floor connected by a small private entrance way which was also locked so we were able to prop both individual room doors open and just close the master door. The rooms had showers only and one shower was rather tight so you may want to inquire in advance if you feel you need a larger shower. Breakfast is provided which consisted of cheese, sliced meat, cereal, always fresh croissants and french bread, sliced bread for toasting, fruit salad and apple sauce, assorted jams, and coffee or tea.

The hotel is well kept and very clean and the people there were very friendly and most helpful. It was a pleasure staying there and would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Paris.

Room Tip: Call ahead if you think a small shower might not be adequate for your needs.

We stayed at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel for one night this summer. I had heard that French people do not like Americans and I was nervous about being in Paris. Let me tell you, I have never met such nice people as I did at this hotel. The staff was amazing and so accomodating. We loved them! I came in with horribly swollen ankles from walking around/taking the train around Europe for two weeks. The staff was truly concerned about me and immediately sat me down, brought me ice and water, brought my husband an Expresso, and tended to my needs. The concern in their eyes was real. I was so touched and it changed my entire perception of what I thought France would be like. It made me want to cry. On checkout day, the hotel stored our luggage for a day of siteseeing and was more than happy to do so.

The hotel itself was typically European...small, inviting, and very Paris. It had everything we needed. The large windows opened up to the street below, so we had activity nearby, but it was never noisy. The location was great as it is only a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and has plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The lobby of the hotel is small but also very inviting, with French decor and a small library of interesting looking books.

We follow Rick Steves' books to a T most of the time, but I didn't know when I booked this hotel that it was also recommended by Rick Steves. That makes it even more perfect, because we trust what Rick has to say about mostly everything.

This was a wonderful, warm hotel with a delightful staff (English speaking too), and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great time in Paris!

Room Tip: It's a small room with a double bed, so if you need more than that, you should book a bigger roo...

We were a family of 3 who arrived early in the morning at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel and we were jet lagged and hungry. From the first moment Cedric and all of the staff were so friendly and professional, they made our stay fantastic. It is absolutely worth it to pay for the rooms with the view of the Eiffel Tower and they are great inter-connecting rooms if travelling as a family. Very clean and modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning ladies did a fantastic job. The breakfast was lovely. For our daughter, Samba the golden retriever was the highlight and best part of her whole holiday, thank you to all of the staff who take such obvious pride in their work.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the view of the Eiffel Tower, it is worth it and a beautiful Paris experience!

Can't add anything else to the rave reviews here...this place is wonderful. We were in room 52, which has a view of the Eiffel Tower. Beautiful! We found the bathroom actually quite spacious for Europe! The room was super clean, up to date, lovely in every way. Extremly welcoming and gracious staff. Helped us get to the airport and never laughed at our attempts at French! About a 5-10 minute walk from both the Ecole Militaire and Pont D'Alma train stations. From Pont D'Alma the train goes directly to Versailles, about 30 minutes. We found the booth always manned with an English speaking ticket seller who helped us figure out which train(s) to take. 5 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. All kinds of restaurants and cafes nearby (all price ranges). We booked on line and got a great rate. A winner!
