“great location, comfortable and well maintained, but inquire if any maintenance is planned during your stay”
Reviewed 25 April 2010

Hotel was beautifully maintained. Comfortable beds with nice decor. Small rooms, but spacious enough for two. Thoughtful details with fridge in rooms and outlets in convenient locations. Bathrooms lovely. Only two complaints. One was that improvement work was done in our bathrooms without notifying us ahead of time. Management offered to change rooms, but we preferred a free breakfast instead. It took a little back and forth to get the bathroom properly cleaned after the maintenance. We had a "family suite" with two rooms with an outside door, but there was no easy way to keep the individual room doors open without blocking bathroom (and they shut automatically), so we used folded up newspaper as door wedge or a stool from the room. The continental breakfast was very good. The airport van service they arranged for us was also reliable and nice, even though we departed on easter sunday. Loved the bakery nearby on Rue de Grenelle and the crepe stand at the Ulysee restaurant on Rue Cler - lovely people. La Varangue/Phillipe's restaurant is down the street from the hotel. Bus 69 stops nearby and was very convenient. Supermarket and laundrymat also close by.

My husband and I just recently stayed at the hotel during the week of April 10th -16th. I have been to Paris before and stayed at a chain hotel. This was my husbands first trip to Paris. I had researched hotels in Paris and had used Tripadvisor as a guide to our choice. We loved the Hotel de Londres Eiffel. It is a charming boutique style hotel in the heart of the 7th arrondisement. To say the location was amazing is an understatement. You are literally a short walk away from the Eiffel Tower. Our room did not have tower views, but it did not matter. We could open our French door style windows and lookout on the beautiful buildings surrounding the hotel. I have read some people complaining about Paris sized rooms, and yes they are smaller than US rooms, but to us that just added to the charm of the room. The bathrooms are tiny compared to US but they are IMMACULATE.....the beds changed daily and quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Patrice was especially helpful to us when we were trying to get in contact with our son. Evangeline, Im not sure it Im correct on her name, but she served breakfast the one morning we ate there , was like a ray of sunshine. Everyone on staff was great. Back to the location, you are just around the corner from the Tower and the Rue Cler neighborhood. The Rue Cler was amazing, open air markets , great little cafes,we especially liked Tribeca. In summary, if you want a more intimate hotel stay nearby the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler area ,you have got to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Londres Eiffel. 2 couples travelling together had an overnight flight from California, and arrived about 10 AM (check-in usually 3 PM). We were very tired and the staff prepared our rooms right away so we could rest. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood, near great shops (especially Rue Clare) and so close to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is very clean and the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The front desk person even made several urgent phone calls when the airport shuttle car was late arriving the day of our departure.

I arrived with two teenagers to stay in the one triple room. I was able to move to two adjoining rooms with a minimal price increase. Nice location near the Tour Eiffel and fun Rue Cler. Good restaurants and patisserie down the street. Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice to be able to walk to such destinations at the Musee Rodin. Nice to have free and easily connected to WiFi in the room.

My husband, my brother, sister-in-law, and I loved this hotel. It was a very charming hotel, in a great location. We loved the Rue Cler neighborhood, and the hotel was the perfect walking distance to the Eiffel Tower! There is a metro stop only a short stroll away too! The hotel breakfast was delicious...the croissants and coffee were the best! All of the staff were very nice and helpful. I cannot wait to return to Paris, and we will definitely stay in this hotel the next time we go!

I've stayed at several hotels in the 7th and the 6th Arr. I keep returning to Hotel de Londres Eiffel. I feel comfortable, safe, well served and even appreciated as a guest. The Hotelier is gracious and respectful. The staff are considerate, and deftly handle any and all odd requests made by their guests who visit from all corners of the earth. Highly recommend this to all my friends who want great location, easy internet access, beautiful location and traditional ambiance.

Our stay at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel from 3/16/10-3/25/10 was absolutely wonderful! This was the second stay at this fine establishment for two of our group of 4 (we stayed here previously in March 2008).
The hotel is very charming, decorated beautifully and close to so many things of interest. The neighborhood locale also adds to the charm. We also found transportation to be very easy from the hotel location. The daily walk to the bus lines and/or the Metro is a very easy and convenient walk. Plus, there is a great restaurant about 1/2 block from the Metro stop, the Cafe de l'Alma (absolute best brioche in all of Paris!). And what could be better than the 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower each night!
Each of the 4 desk managers were very helpful to us during our stay - from arranging tours for us ( a great Normandy tour and a fun champagne tour), to restaurant recommendations to assisting with our overload of luggage! Particular thanks to Matteus and Arneau for all their help as we probably saw the most of them during our stay. All four of them (Cedric, Matteus, Arneau and Patrice) are an absolute delight to deal with and added to the fun of our trip. Ms. Pringent is very fortunate to have such wonderful employees.
The hotel has a section that is newly renovated and the owner, Ms. Pringent, gave us a tour of the new rooms (they are not yet open to the public). The rooms are beautiful and I am sure guests will be very happy be placed in the new rooms.
Should we return to Paris (and I hope to again one day), I would not stay anywhere other than the Hotel de Londres Eiffel! It feels like our Paris home.
