Decent place to stay with proper service at an excellent location. I had no problems whatsoever. The WiFi worked, there was a safe in the room for valuables, the room was clean and quiet. The staff at the desk understands English, which is a big bonus if you don't speak French.

I will definitely choose this place the next time I'm in Paris.

My wife and I stayed here during our first ever visit to Paris for 4 nights. Location was excellent, as Edgar Quinet train station is about 1 minute away, which will connect you to most of the major sites you'll want to see in this beautiful city, as well as the airport. Lot's of cool places are within walking distance, like the Montparnasse Cemetery and Catacombs. The area of the city is nice with some decent restaurants and Cafe's close by.

The room was small but does what it needs to do, with a little bit of flare mixed into it. It's definitely the nicest hotel we stayed in during our trip in terms of art and decor. The bed was comfortable and there was a safe provided to store our valuables. Our room was in the back of the hotel, which I would recommend as it was very quite. The only complaint I have is the free WiFi - it would only work if we stood right next do the door. First world problems, I know. But just a heads up.

The staff were friendly and there was always someone at the front desk, day and night.

The breakfast they offer to guests costs an extra 12 euro/pp, so we skipped it. But from what I saw the spread looked nice if you wanted to include it. There is a Monoprix (Their version of a SuperStore or Target) literally right outside this hotel, so getting food for the day or morning wasn't hard or expensive as you would think.

Good location, decent price and nice rooms make this a safe choice, in my opinion, if you're going to stay in Paris. There's lots of options out there, but you're not going to kick yourself for picking this one.

Excellent location a couple of blocks from the Gare du Sud and the red and green lines for the Metro. Interesting ethnic and less expensive restaurants in the streets right next to the restaurant. Hotel breakfast is a very nice European style breakfast. Rooms are clean. Staff is pleasant and take pride in serving guests.

Room Tip: One double size room per floor. Advanced, multi-night stay deals available on the Internet.

I use to go quite often to this hotel for business and in the last 5 years it used to be a very good surprise. recently though, I used their website to book a room and the experience was terrible. first time it booked in double and we discovered the fact arriving at the hotel ; the secund time was a 4 nights booking and we cancelled the first 2 days before arriving: but the owner said it was not a 48h year cancellation but a "complete 2 days" ( meaning according him you have to do it 3 days before midnight ). Finally a complete mess, had to pay for the cancelled night even if it was easy for them to rent it ( and probably it was the case ) . The attitude of the owner was highly offensive ( and not respectful of the client point of view ), and clearly the guy didn't want to consider his poor website solution as part of the problem. The hotel is ok but definitly this kind of dishonest attitude is a good reason for me to avoid them next time: there are so many good and friendly hotels in Montparnasse area, the choice of welcoming place is not so complicated.

Stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2014. Lovely hotel, clean and modern. Our room was on top floor and had nice view over buildings. No street noise. We had a nice sized ensuite and room wasn't too small (not too big either!). We had free wifi and also flat screen that played mkv and mp4 from a usb stick if that's of interest to you. Also range of international channels. Safe was in the press.
Area is lovely, monoprix across the road, lots of restaurants and bars around also. Edgar Quinet is only 1 min away and you can get the metro and then rer B from nearby station to CDG.
The lift is usual parisien small and reception is on 1st floor with no lift up to the 1st floor so don't be shocked!
Overall, highly recommended and would stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in January. We booked on Orbitz and paid under 100 euros a night. The hotel was great for the price. The rooms are small/cozy but that's pretty typical of Europe. The area around the hotel is very nice. There are many places to eat outside the hotel and it's about a 40 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. We would stay here again!

We stayed in this great wee hotel for a few nights while sight seeing in Paris. It is very well located in a quiet location in the district of Montparnasse and has very good access to the Paris metro.
The rooms although small are clean, comfortable and quiet at night.
Staff were very friendly and offered advice on transport and other helpful info on the city. Breakfast is also very good, offering a great selection of items including delicious hot croissants to start the day off on a good note.

Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely!!
