“Great Hotel, Great Staff..”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We stayed at the Champs Elysees Plaza for 2 nights and had a fantastic time.
The Hotel was perfectly situated 1 min walk to the Champs Elysees, we couldnt have wished for a better location to explore Paris.
The staff were fantastic, all our requirements were dealt with immediately and nothing was too much trouble,
I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return in the near future.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at this very comfortable establishment , having stayed here several times before, and have always found all the staff so helpful & friendly. Indeed, on our departure the gentleman at the reception desk escorted us to our taxi & shook hands - a most friendly touch. The door boys could not be more enthusiastic & cheerful. Highly recommended.

After 32 years of absence, I returned to Paris on my Easter holiday. I stayed at Champs Elysees Plaza from Thursday 17. to Monday 21. April 2014. In spite of the name, the hotel is not located on Champs Elysees itself, but a (small) stone's throw from the famous avenue.

The service is outstanding, and the hospitality of the staff is genuine! I really felt welcomed, and they always asked me if there were anything they could help me with. I've been staying of numerous hotels all over the world, and Champs Elysees Plaza is one of the most enjoyable. The standard is very good, in an old, elegant fashion style (whatch the visitor's pictures).

The rates are high, however concidering the standard, service, and location, I will highly recommend this elegant accomodation in the heart of Paris.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 7. floor for excellent view of the city

My wife and I spent seven nights at the Champs Elysees Plaza last week. It is a first class hotel in every respect. Before we arrived we contacted the concierge by email for help with dinner reservations and transfers to and from the airport. I dealt primarily with Emma who was efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

We were met at the airport after our overnight flight and taken directly to the hotel. We were warmly greeted and made to feel right at home. We had reserved a Junior Suite. Our room (51) was very large with a very comfortable king size bed, couch, two chairs, desk, and a large cabinet that held a safe and the mini-bar. The bathroom was huge. It had a sink, toilet, bidet, a separate stand up, enclosed shower with a rain shower head and a large jetted tub. The bathroom also had soft, oversize bath towels and really good hair dryer. There was plenty of hot water and twice daily maid service. It was nice at the end of a long day of walking all over Paris to relax in the jetted tub.

Now, let's talk about street noise - there was none. Based on what we had read on Trip Advisor, we requested a "Courtyard View" room. There was no street noise, no dumpster trucks collecting trash at 4 am. In fact, it was one of the quietest hotel rooms we have ever had at any hotel, That's pretty remarkable when you realize the hotel is in the middle of Paris. Now, to be fair, our "Courtyard View" was a view of a wall on the neighboring building. But, for us, that was a small price to pay for such a peaceful space.

The breakfast buffet which was included in the price our room was plentiful and very good. Fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, sausage cereals and pastries. And, fresh squeezed orange juice.

The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. We were always met with a smile and a pleasant greeting. I'm not an expert on hotel staffing, but it seemed to me that this hotel is very well staffed. There were always two people behind the desk so you never had to wait for assistance. The doorman was always there to open the door for you or help with a package.

One of the most interesting aspects of the hotel is the antique elevator. It works beautifully and is quieter than most modern elevators. A very unique feature.

The location of the hotel is very good. It's an easy walk to the Champs Elysses and the metro station George V. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and parks within easy walking distance.

One suggestion: This is not a huge hotel where taxis line up in front of the hotel day and night. The front desk is happy to call a cab, but you might have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for it to arrive. So, plan accordingly.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stay in anywhere. If you are looking for a boutique hotel in a good location with a wonderful staff, this is the place to go in Paris.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a Courtyard View for a quiet room in a noisy city.

Our stay from the moment we walked in the hotel was excellent, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff that took our bags and sent them to our room while we had drinks in the bar. The room (73) was a very spacious suite and had every amenity in it. Our bathroom was huge, with a very large shower cubicle and an excellent shower, there was also a large jacuzzi bath, large enough for two if needed. The views were also fantastic, with views to the Eiffel Tower and to the other side too. The restaurant food was fantastic, we had an Aberdeen Angus fillet steak, which I must say, has never been this good in the UK, we must send the best abroad, and the tiramisu which was just the BEST!!!

We organised some trips through the hotel, which was done with ease, and the staff just booked everything without us hanging around. Over all an amazing 5 day trip, made extra special by the hotel, well done the CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES PLAZA, for making it this special.

The Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great as its a few minutes walk to Champs Elysees Avenue. There bathroom has a jacuzzi which is wonderful to relax in after a long day walking. The room size is ok, not small, but not big by standards I'm used to. They welcomed us with macaroons in the room. This is a Boutique Hotel, so reception area is very small, the elevator seems like an antique and reminded me of black and white movies. I like to lounge in big reception areas and have coffee, this hotel wasn't that type. It's very pricey. It was clean, but no view.
