Went to this Italian restaurant tonight. Down a small street off of touristy St. Germain. Went in without a reservation. Surprisingly not full. Had the special (lobster spaghetti) and the kids had a pasta with proscuitto and gorgonzola sauce. Both were great and a welcome change from "French" food. Service was good, and the staff spoke Italian to each other when they were not serving guests. For those without functioning Italian or French, they are capable in English as well. Simple wine list highlighting wines from Italy, especially Sicily (obviously).

If you are in Paris you must visit this place until you visit this place your Paris trip many not 100%.
I have couple of reasons behind that
- Great traditional yet modern cuisine.
- Tasty Ice creams
- And affordable price
- Awesome atmosphere
The service is fast and friendly.
Really a good place for family but I still feel they sometime get over crowded, though I have been here for just once. Great Value for your money...

Do not get scared of the myths about Saint Germain quarters, full of tourist traps and Parisian sky rocket restaurant prices. If you search for the real, savoury original Italian cuisine at an acceptable, for Paris standards, price, then this is the place to enjoy one or more meals. Except the somewhat slow (but still within the limits of acceptably slow) service and the fact that in winter sitting on the ground floor exposes you to occasional cold air currents (as the entrance door open and closes: an air curtain could do the perfect job) everything else was almost perfect. We hope that the proprietor will resolve these these issues until our next visit. We had four starters, four main courses, all among the dearest in the menu : with fresh fish, truffle and other fine and pricey ingredients, wine, water, soft drinks and three deserts. The bill of 170 euros was a pleasant surprise considering Paris, the neighborhood and the quality of the meal. The salmon tartar and the antipasti misti were a true delight. Also the grilled swordfish and the pasta with truffle as well as the spaghetti alle vongole are at Michelin standards. The panna cotta with a fruity coulis closed magnificently our palate pleasure (however the cassatina desert was a bit blunt and average). I would recommend this restaurant to all amateurs of Italian cuisine.

My family and I ended our week in Paris with a dinner here. It was awesome; the twins who manage the restaurant were gracious and eager to accomodate our requests and the food was wonderful. With only four tables downstairs it's a tiny spot, but very appealing. The food, service and ambience were wonderful. Highly recomended.
