“Undoubtedly the best location in Paris!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

I have stayed at this hotel over many years and it is a perfect location, always friendly and welcoming, safe and clean. Most Paris hotel rooms are small but that is part of the charm. If you love walking this is the best place to start and finish!

Room Tip: Has bread and coffee/ hot chocolate for breakfast.

This is a lovely small hotel one block away from St Germain and Notre Dame. If you plan to do a lot of walking, this is an excellent location. Friendly staff, lovely corner room. We were able to walk to all the main attractions, restaurants, cafes and laundry mart.
Highly recommended.

My first time in Paris and here to attend a conference and series of meetings at the Sorbonne, with enough time planned to take in Paris. Nine days in all. This little hotel was just lovely. The staff are warm and friendly and very, very helpful, going out of their way to help. No request too hard. Even found a dentist for my colleague when 99.9% of dentists are out of Paris on holiday. The location is superb - close to everything, but very quiet. The rooms are lovely - I chose to take a double room although I was on my own, and this gave me plenty of space. Yes, it's all small, but it's Paris! The large windows open and the 5-speed fan makes the atomosphere fine. Over the road (literally) is a sublime bistro, La Pré Verre. I dined there on my last night, so it was saving the best until last. There are a zillion cafes, bistros and restaurants to choose from close by, so I took breafast in a different cafe each morning. It's a decent walk to the Louvre, not so far to Jardins de Luxembourg, close to Musee Cluny (for fabulous medieval art) and to the Institute for Arab Studies with its lovely museum and fabulous views of Paris. Mr Santa Ana and his colleagues are wonderful. Next time I come to Paris I won't be looking elsewhere, will just return 'home'.

Room Tip: The second floor has a room with a balcony - that would be just the icing on the cake! There's...

The location can't be beat. The rooms for two persons are adequate, with the bathrooms a tight fit. More than two in a room means very tight quarters. The breakfast at 10 euros is not close to being worth the price, when there are good cafes nearby. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Not at all a place to hang out, but a great base for the daily exploration of Paris.

Room Tip: Don't put three in a room.

So this place had an old feel to it but still very clean overall. I loved that the bathroom was newly renovated. So amazing close to all the best areas of Paris in St Germain (Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, Marais). What made it the best was the staff. Everyone was sweet and accommodating. The owner may be one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Personally stood with us outside as we waited for our cab and talked to us about our trip. Hoping I get to go back to Paris soon--if so I'll be staying here

When our transportation plans changed we came across this small hotel just by looking around the neighborhood and checking the rates....80 Euro...last minute! We had stayed near the Louvre on the Right Bank....1st Arrondissement for 3 nights in a much more expensive hotel/suite. My kids thought that area was a bit too quiet so we chose this location for our last night in Paris and it was perfectly fine. The staff and warmth of the lobby area made our stay very comfortable. The rooms were carpeted and had bedspreads which I've come to dislike in hotels now. There was no A/C but there were 2 fans in the room. The bathroom was pretty well updated, yet small. The elevator was tiny....just like everyone describes in Paris. We did not try the breakfast, but I think the cost was 10 Euro. We always enjoy hitting the street to try a local restaurant for a croissant and Cafe' Creme and some people-watching....just like the Parisiennes do!
So much to walk to in this area....you will love the location!
This hotel seems like the perfect one for students or anyone on a budget!

Room Tip: Some rooms have views of the world outside...just have to ask.

Great Location, great staff, ( thank you Mr Jesus) free Wifi is excellent, and it has an elevator! I was able to take advantage of an online special which made it even more attractive and it was clean and safe. Good restaurant right across the street, 2 blocks from Eric Kayser Boulangerie .
Perhaps the rooms are small but when you can open the windows and see Paris , who cares?
Ceiling and oscillating fans were more than adequate to deal with the August heat.Am recommending to all.
