“Loving the Latin Quarter.”
Reviewed 2 October 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights in August this year. The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter and about 500m from the touristy bit so it's in a fairly quiet street. We arrived there mid-Sunday afternoon to be greeted a smiling Mr Santa Ana. What a charming man he is, always friendly, polite and cheerful. Our room was the double balcony room. It was an adequate size for Paris with good hanging space, an en-suite and balcony with a table and two chairs which overlooked the street. The metro is a short walk away and there is a patisserie nearby with some bars, cafes and restaurants in easy access. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again when we return to Paris.

Room Tip: For a few extra Euros, the double room with balcony adds a touch of Parisian romance.

This is definetely the best 2 star hotel in Paris. Situated in the heart of Latin qurter it is e few steps away from Notre Dame and Saint Germain des Pres. Located on a small back street. No need to worry about noisy surroundings - this is nice and quiet place.
Rooms and lobby are cosy and clean.
Visited them 3 or 4 times and never regret.
You can enjoy your visit in Paris with them.

Located in Saint Germain, this charming little hotel was recommended to me by my travel agent after I asked for a more "affordable" hotel option for our trip to Paris. We flew direct from New Zealand and took the RER train into the city - the instructions provided by the hotel were excellent as we found the property easily (despite the jetlag). The staff were warm, wecolming and authentic. We had a twin room on the 5th floor with a balcony, which was on the small side, but had a sunny aspect and was perfect for our needs. The lift is tiny (and I mean tiny), so if small spaces bother you, this might not work for you.

The lobby / reception decor is charming and cosy, but the room decor a little dated. The balconies (with table and chairs) are typically Parisan and ideal for an aperitif or deli purchased picnic dinner.

The location is fantastic, the street is quiet, the wifi reliable and quick, the staff delightful and the room rate excellent value. I'll definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Paris on vacation

Room Tip: Try and secure a room with a balcony. More light and a great spot to enjoy some French wine and che...

I've been staying at this hotel for close to ten years. While it hardly needs one more good review, the staff is so unfailingly helpful, the location is so good, and the rapport qualité/prix so outstanding that I am throwing another hat in. It's hard to think of any other major city worth visiting where one can stay in a place one wants to be in for less than 100 euros per night. Long may Paris and its mom-and-pop establishments wave!

Wasn't sure where to stay in Paris but this area was recommended to us so set about looking for nice hotel and was lucky enough to find this gem. It is such a charming small hotel- exactly what I imagined a Parisian hotel would be The location is wonderful and we travelled in on RER train fro CDG airport to St Michel station just a 2 minute walk away. The staff are very helpful particularly Mr Santa Ana. Room was fairly small but ample and bathroom was good too. The street was very quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Would definitely return as the price was good but the location even better.

I have stayed at this hotel over many years and it is a perfect location, always friendly and welcoming, safe and clean. Most Paris hotel rooms are small but that is part of the charm. If you love walking this is the best place to start and finish!

Room Tip: Has bread and coffee/ hot chocolate for breakfast.

This is a lovely small hotel one block away from St Germain and Notre Dame. If you plan to do a lot of walking, this is an excellent location. Friendly staff, lovely corner room. We were able to walk to all the main attractions, restaurants, cafes and laundry mart.
Highly recommended.
