“nice hotel, good location”
Reviewed 16 May 2014

This was a very nice hotel centrally located in Montmartre, one block away from Metro stop Place Le Clichy and a few blocks away from Moulin Rouge.

Pros:
location- close enough to take the metro anywhere but far enough from many tourist traps
cleanliness, hotel staff was very helpful and friendly

cons- the room we had was in the first building on floor 6, room #66. although it was tastefully decorated, there is a slant on the ceiling that falls rather low over the bed, which if you are one to move throughout the night, will fins yourself hitting either an arm, leg or more regretfully your head against it. I still have a bruise on my arm from hitting the low ceiling in my sleep last week. There is prob about a foot of space between your body and the ceiling over the bed.

Other than that, this hotel was perfect and I would stay here again, just not in room 66.

Room Tip: do not get room 66

I took my mother to Paris last week (for mother's day) and decided to stay at this hotel based upon the great reviews on trip advisor. They were all right, this hotel is amazing! We arrived at 9:30am and they were able to accommodate us with a room (instead of waiting until the 2pm check in time) which was wonderful!! By American standards the hotel is small (but most European hotels are like that) but it is by far the nicest I have stayed in!! (And this is coming from a girl that stays at the Waldorf in NYC) Clean, new and beautiful rooms with very friendly staff. They were all so kind and polite. The metro is a block away and there are many restaurants in the area. Also you are within walking distance to Galleries Lafayette, which was great! I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Room Tip: My mother and I stayed in the classic room. As Americans, I wish I booked a premier or junior suite...

My husband and I went to Paris to visit our student daughter for a few days at the end of March. I chose this hotel after reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor.
It was in an excellent location, close to the metro, good restaurants and Montmartre.
The staff spoke very good english and the hotel was very comfortable. The bedroom was as described with a lovely bathroom. We had a room on the street side so we couldn't leave the window open at night time. The next time we go we will request a room overlooking the inner courtyard.
After a long day's sight seeing, we looked forward to going back and relaxing in the bar at night time away from the 'hustle and bustle' of Place de Clichy and surroundings. Good wine at reasonable prices.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris who is looking for a small quite hotel within easy reach of all the tourist attractions.

Room Tip: Ask for a Court Yard View if you want a quite room.

This hotel is in a great location for the metro and is also within walking distance (even in the rain) to the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. The Moulin rouge is about a 10 minute walk. We found the area around the hotel perfectly safe with lots of cafés etc. Would recommend Le Petit Poucet cafe bar which is around the corner from the hotel, the food here was delicious but is also a great place for a drink afternoon or evening.

The hotel itself is beautiful inside & out. We were in room 18 which overlooked the road, the only time we were disturbed by road noise was from the bin men one morning but this was no big deal for us. Our room was small but perfectly acceptable for our 2 night stay & nicely decorated, the bathroom was lovely and a good size. The bed & pillows were very comfortable just what you need after a long day sightseeing. They also have Free wifi.

The hotel bar was a great place for a drink of an evening with reasonably priced good wine. Breakfast was ample and being able to eat it outside on a sunny morning was a bonus.

The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and obliging.

Would not hesitate in booking here again should we visit Paris again and would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our one night stay here. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and good shower. Pretty, peaceful garden too. Staff friendly and helpful, would we stay again? Yes

We're fussy about where we put our heads down for the night and in Europe generally, a lot of hotels are quite dated. I was surprised to come across this one and so booked it for a family long weekend in Oct 2012. Very well appointed rooms and bathrooms, very modern in decor and tiled! Rooms were small but this is expected in any densely packed city. Hotel receptionist was very good. He recommended places to go for lunch and dinner, not that you can have a bad meal in Paris. Our hotel of choice when we next visit.

Room Tip: If you're tall, avoid the loft rooms as the ceilings are into the slants. Book early as the hote...
