My wife and I stayed here with our friends for 3 nights. The picture of the hotel on TripAdvisor is as it looks in real life, its a Superior Double and for a 2 star can be considered SUPERIOR.
Good value, lovely bi-lingual staff, air-con (not used), towels changed daily, bathroom cleaned and beds made. All you can expect from a budget hotel. WiFi great.
All you need nearby:-Metro, Supermarket, fresh food shops, bars.
Didn't have the breakfasts, went to a superb cafe at the junction at the bottom of Rue Notre Dame De Lorette. Only other negative was TV (only English speaking stations are BBCW and CNBC)
Definitely recomend

Room Tip: Superior doubles are at the back and v. quiet.

Was on business trip for a week in Paris but did not need a fancy hotel to stay in.
I chose that hotel because of the reviews I read and I was not disappointed. Staff are very nice and helpful, it is a very good location to stay in Paris (near Opera, Pigalle, Montmartre). The metro is 2mins walk (Metro st Georges), the location seems to be safe enough and the best for me is also to have Carrefour City just down the road :-))
The disappointment is the single room is very very tiny!! But bathroom and toilettry were good enough and clean - the shower is fantastic with lots of pressure but I think, instead of have a shower curtain, it is better to have put a shower door, so that you do not feel claustrophobic and the water will not run all over the floor.
I also enjoyed the fact that for the same breakfast price (€13) you can have it brought up in the room, which saved me some time in the morning.
I will probably stay there again if I come with my partner or friend in the superior room, but unfortunately I will skip it if I come back alone..

Went to Paris for the first time and started my stay at Hotel France Albion. Easy to get to it from the Airport via Air France shuttle and then metro. There are 2 stops very near by. I was travelling alone for a few days and felt very safe here. The single room was cozy, comfy and clean. Great value. I would definitely stay again.

Booked the superior double which was very comfortable. Newly renovated, large bathroom and quiet (overlooks the courtyard at the back rather than the street). Rate included breakfast which was a standard French small buffet. Wifi was good and room was clean.

Location is great, very close to 2 train lines, walk to Mont Martre and a longer walk to the Opera area with Gelleries lafayette. They looked after our bags before and after check-in/check-out. There are some supermarkets near the hotel as well as lots of restaurants.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again because of the good location and relatively good value for Paris. I would choose the superior double rooms as the others look a bit tired.

Room Tip: Book a superior suite as they are on the quiet side of the building and newly renovated.

Dear Estimated Guest,
Thank you for your commentary. We are very happy to know that you have spend a good stay in the France Albion Hotel. Regarding the rooms, I just want to precise that we are at the beginning of some works to renoved all our rooms. The first type of room renoved is the Superior Double Room and we will continue with another type of room next year. However, all our rooms have the same equipment and service.
We hope to receive you again.
Best Regards

Me and my friend stayed here 4-8th Feb 2012. The room, even though very small, was warm and comfortable. Bathroom had powerful shower and was clean. As long as you don't pay too much attention to details you are fine in this hotel. There are 2 different underground lines (cadet and lorette de notre dame) less than 5 min walk. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets around - there is a carrefour city across the road. You can also walk to Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and to Gare du Nord (connection for airport link). The one thing that annoyed me was the smell of food in the bedroom first thing in the morning... not enough ventilation in kitchen downstairs??
So: perfect location, clean enough, quiet enough. NOT a romantic hotel, this is a good practical place to stay for a short break in Paris.

This is a nice hotel, only around ten minutes from the Eurostar terminal. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfasts good. The staff were bilingual and extremely helpful. A pleasant stay.

This hotel was perfect for a three night stay in Paris. We didnt spend too much time here as there is so much to do and see in Paris. The breakfast was great and was down to E9 when we were there. I was quite scepticle about going to a 2 star in Paris when you hear how small the rooms can be but the room was big enough for our needs. The bed was comfortable, you could control your own heat and there was a great shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Can be bit noisy if overlooking street which we were so bring earplugs. Staff in reception were more than helpful and always pleasant, would definetly stay here again. Deserves 3 stars.

Room Tip: Rooms are quieter to the back but you may be beside lift then too which maybe noisy?
