Have stayed in Paris a couple of times always in fairly budget hotels and this is by far the best. Really clean, friendliest staff and rooms are comfy.

We had a 3 night stay at this hotel and found it to be far better than it's 2 star rating would have you believe. The hotel is within within easy reach of two Metro Stations and walking distance of most of the main tourist attractions. There are some good restaurants close by too. The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Clean towels were provided everyday as well as the room being cleaned. The staff were a credit to the hotel in that they were very friendly, very helpful and thankfully their English far better than our French. I have stayed in several 2/3 star hotels in Paris and is the best I have found. That good that we are staying there again when we return to Paris in October.

I stayed here for four days. We found the hotel fairly easy. It is located farther away from the main central area with all the tourist sites, although fairly close to the Montmarte area which is more on the outskirts of Paris. However, there are 3 metro stations, about a 5 min walk away (2 different lines) that through other connections can reach almost anywhere in about 15-20 minutes. The area around the hotel seemed to have more locals than tourists, but seemed very safe, although we didn't go out much at night. Also, there is a small grocery shop right across the street, which was great for cheap snacks and water.

The hotel elevator is small, common for Europe, and the rooms are smaller than American hotels, also common for Europe. However, with two of us in a double we still had plenty of room to walk with our luggage laid out. The room was a very clean, basic hotel room. It had 2 nightstands, a double bed, desk and television, as well as a safe in the coat closet. The bathroom was also very clean, and both the room and bathroom were cleaned daily, if you placed the sign on the door.

One minor complaint was that the shower. It had no shower curtain, so unless you decided to take a bath, you had to be up against the wall to avoid flooding the floor. Also, the bath walls were high to step out of, which may be hard for some people.

Overall, clean and cheap, which made it perfect for us. A nice place to sleep after being out all day sightseeing.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel with my family. Staff was very friendly and could speak good english. Rooms were a bit small but very clean. Location is also perfect, short walk distances to subways and sightseeings such as Galery Laffayette and Opera Paris. Internet is available but costs 6€/24h. It is surronded by Restaurants as well. Suprisingly, even though the hotel is located in a busy street, it was very quiet at night. Staff can also provide the guests with bus transfer to the airport.

The rooms are small but very, very clean and well maintained. There is a small well stocked bar on the ground floor - unusual in a hotel of this size. Breakfast had a wide choice, both hot and cold and the coffee and juices were of very good quality. All of the staff were extremely helpful and courteous and made our stay a memorable experience. The location is excellent with at least two Metro stations nearby and many good restaurants and bistros within easy walking distance. I can thoroughly recommend Caffe Jadis, in the same street as the hotel - 11 rue Notre Dame de Lorette. For more information on this restaurant go to www.caffe-jadis.com where you will find a sample menu and photographs.

We arrived on a very cold May day but the Hotel France Albion was warm and cosy. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with good quality BATH SHEETS and piping hot water. Never venture out for breakfast, the breakfast was beyond belief even included omelette, bacon and fried potatoes!. The staff were very attentive and service excellent.
Position for Metro and Monmartre ideal.
2 Star rating but definitely 3 star value.

As I stayed in this small little hotel for four nights, and was very pleased, I am writing this review.
If you travel, and do not want to spend too much money on expensive hotel nights, this is an exellent choise. Location is good and rooms are small but clean. I asked for a quiet room and got one, so I am more than pleased with the service as well.

Since it was unbelivable warm and sunny week in Paris, I didn´t want to eat my breakfasts inside my hotel. Instead I went to boulangerie nearby, to eat breakfast outside with only 6 euros.

This hotel is good choise for its location and for shopping, metros are near, the area of Montmartre is just around the corner and also Haussmann area, where the department stores are ( Galeries Laffayette ans Printemps).

This hotel is also nearby the Opera house (L`Opera), where you can take a bus to the airport of Charles De Gaulle. Very convinient.
