The hotel/hostel is in a brilliant location, near to the Mouline Rouge and close to bars/clubs and metro stations. Breakfast was included which was a plus. The hotel is great if you're on a tight budget as you get what you pay for. The only criticism was the water in the showers was hit and miss with not always getting running hot water and our room had a funny wax smell that we couldn't seem to air out but the room was clean. All in all a pleasant stay, would recommend!

This hotel/hostel is the perfect (emphasis added) place to stay, especially if you're on a tight budget in Paris. As students, my boyfriend and I found the place more than nice, with an awesome breakfast included in the price: a traditional baguette and pain au chocolat washed down with orange juice and a large coffee.
The furniture in our room was also well taken care of, and bed sheets and towels were changed daily. Despite having the bathroom and showers down the hallway, the hostel is small and you can always find an empty spot for either of them.
I totally recommend this hotel, it is great. We stayed in a double room, but I'm sure all others would be more than okay, especially if you enjoy sharing with other people.

3 night stay. Staff were fairly friendly, included breakfast was pretty much just bread and coffee. Proximity to Montmartre was nice, but the room and linen was visibly dirty, no air conditioning or fan, and the hot water only worked about half of the time. Cheap, but not cheap enough to be worth it.

Stayed here for 3 nights never slept for more than 2 hours each night even after coming home in the early hours the constant noise of people using the toilets next door showers being used doors being slammed constant loud voices the walls are so thin you could here someone drop a tissue! Poor location is near metro which is Anvers but you spend most of your day of the metro! Stuffy rooms old and dated don't mind that too much as we just wanted a bed for the night but you couldn't even get a sleep or relax making us not enjoy as much as we should've the next day just pay a little extra and get somewhere decent or if you decide to sty here make sure you are not on the first floor or near the toilets! Rooms were clean shower was useless but staff were lovely that's the only good part!

The rooms where we stayed had just been refurnished, so they were spot-clean!
Breakfast is not the best (packaged pain au chocolat and coffe), but there is a nice bekery around the corner.
Very friendly staff, and god location with a metro stop 10 min away.
The neighborhood is filled with little cafe and restaurants!

you CAN NOT BEAT the price and location of this hotel. only 2 blocks from a metro station 4 from gare du nord. rooms were small but nice and clean. breakfast was simple but tasty. wifi worked good. little grocery on the corner so you can get inexpensive lunch to take wit you while you sightsee in otherwise food-expensive Paris

The first place I stayed at was a delightful way to begin my Tour of France. Due to Airline complications I arrived a day late to Paris which I thought would result in having to pay for the missed night I had booked in advance, however, to my surprise the hotel did not charge me for my missed night, a gesture that I really appreciated. I stayed in a 4 person Dorm that included a locker along with clean sheets and a tidy bathroom. Breakfast was basic, however, included in the price consisting of one croissant along with 2 long pieces of French bread. The staff were not very welcoming, however, were excellent to deal with whenever a problem emerged.
