We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Lots of architectural charm. As with many older properties, the rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There are the barest of amenities, hair dryer, towels and soap so you should bring other toiletries such as shampoo and lotion. The elevator is small-2 persons max so be prepared to walk up and down the stairs at times. Also beat to ask for a room at the back of the hotel if the street noise bothers you. We did not find it to be a problem, but some may.
Three metro stops are quite close to the hotel so it's easy to get around the city.
I recommend the various boulangeries in the neighborhood for breakfast- the one served at the hotel is not up to Paris standards.
